Save me, Lord, for I have become impoverished, for I have lost the truth from the sons of men. A vain verb, every one to his sincere, a flattering mouth in the heart, and an evil verb in the heart. The Lord will require all flattering lips, a lofty tongue, saying: Let us exalt our tongue, our lips are ours; who is the Lord to us? For the sake of the poor and the sighing of the poor, I will now rise again, says the Lord, I will rely on salvation, I will not be offended about it. The word of the Lord is pure, the silver is kindled, the earth is tempted, the word of the seven is purified. You, Lord, have preserved us and kept us from this generation and forever. Around wickedness walk, the sons of men have multiplied according to your height. Save me, Lord, for the number of the righteous has diminished, for the truth has become scarce among the sons of men. Every one speaks vain things to his neighbor: evil words are in his heart, and out of his heart he speaks evil. The Lord will destroy the wicked lips, the arrogant tongue of those who say: “Let us exalt ourselves with our tongue; we have mastery over our lips.

What is the Lord to us! “For the suffering of the poor and the sighing of the needy, I will now rise,” says the Lord, “I will bring about their salvation and will not retreat!” The words of the Lord are pure words, silver refined, tested in the furnace, purified seven times. You, Lord, will preserve us and keep us both in our days and forever. The wicked are walking around us. According to Your greatness, You have increased mercy to the sons of men.

Psalm 12

Finally, a psalm to David.
Finally, Psalm of David, 12.

How long, Lord, will you forget me completely? How long do you turn your face away from me? How long will I put advice in my soul, illness in my heart day and night? How long will my enemy rise up against me? Look, hear me, O Lord my God, enlighten my eyes, so that not when I fall asleep into death, and not when my enemy speaks, I strengthen myself against him. Those who are cold will rejoice, even if I move. But I trust in Your mercy, my heart will rejoice in Your salvation, I will sing to the Lord who has been good to me and I will sing to the name of the Lord Most High.
How long, Lord?.. Don’t forget me completely! How long will you turn Your face away from me? How long shall I keep thoughts in my soul, sorrows in my heart day and night? How long will my enemy exalt himself over me? Look, hear me, O Lord my God! Enlighten my eyes, so that I may not sleep the sleep of death! Let not my enemy say: “I have overcome him!” My persecutors will rejoice if I hesitate. But I trust in Your mercy: my heart will rejoice when You save me. I will praise the Lord, who has done good for me, I will sing the name of the Lord Most High.

Psalm 13

Finally, a psalm to David.
Finally, Psalm of David, 13.

The speech is foolish in his heart: there is no God. Having become corrupted and disgusted in your undertakings, do no good. The Lord came from heaven to the sons of men, see, if there is, understand or seek God. All having deviated, together they were not the keys: not doing goodness, not to one. Will not all the workers of iniquity, who devour my people's bread, understand? You didn’t call on the Lord. There you were afraid of fear, even though there was no fear, for the Lord is among the generation of the righteous. The advice of the poor is disgraceful, but the Lord is his hope. Who will give salvation to Israel from Zion? Whenever the Lord brings back the captivity of His people, Jacob will rejoice, and Israel will rejoice. The madman said in his heart: “There is no God.” They became corrupt and vile in their deeds; there are none who do good. The Lord bowed down from Heaven to the sons of men, so that he might see whether there is one who knows or seeks God. Everyone has deviated from the truth, everyone has become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one! Will not the workers of iniquity, who eat my people as they eat bread, come to their senses?

They did not call on the Lord! They were afraid when there was no fear, for the Lord, who helps the family of the righteous, had left them. They laughed at the good intentions of the beggar, but the Lord is his hope. Who will grant salvation to Israel from the heights of Zion? When the Lord brings His people back from captivity, Jacob will rejoice, Israel will rejoice.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 14

Finally, a psalm to David.
Finally, Psalm of David, 14.

Lord, who dwells in Your dwelling? Or who will dwell in Your holy mountain? Walk blamelessly and do righteousness, speak the truth in your heart. If you do not flatter with your tongue and do no harm to your sincere, you will not accept reproach against your neighbors. The wicked one is humiliated before him, but the one who fears glorifies the Lord, swearing sincerely and not rejecting it. I will not give my silver for interest and will not accept bribes for the innocent. This creator will not move forever.
Lord, who will dwell in Your habitation? And who will dwell on Your holy mountain? He who lives blamelessly does what is right and speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not use a cunning tongue, and does not do evil to his neighbor, and does not listen to slander against his neighbors. He despises the evil man, but praises those who fear the Lord; he swears to his neighbor and does not renounce. He does not give his silver at interest and does not accept innocent gifts from the enemy. He who does this will never be shaken.

Psalm 15

Pillars, to David.
Inscription on the pillar, David, 15.

Save me, Lord, as I trust in You. Reh of the Lord: You are my Lord, for you do not require my good things. To the saints who are on His earth, the Lord surprises all His desires in them. Having multiplied their infirmities, I hastened them to this day: I will not gather together their councils from the blood, neither will I mention their names in my mouth. Lord, part of my wealth and my cup, You are the one who builds up my wealth for me. I have already attacked my powers, for my power is mine. I will bless the Lord, who gave me understanding, even before the night I chastised my womb. I will bring forth the foreknowledge of the Lord before me, as at my right hand, let me not be moved. For this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue rejoiced, and my flesh also rested in hope. For Thou shalt not leave my soul in hell, nor let Thy venerable one see corruption. Thou hast told me the ways of life, fill me with joy with Thy face, beauty is at Thy right hand in the end. Save me, Lord, for I trust in You. I said to the Lord: “You are my Lord, and you do not need my gifts.”

The Lord marvelously revealed His will to the saints living on His earth. Their infirmities increased, but soon passed away. I will not call people to shed sacrificial blood, I will not pronounce their names with my lips. The Lord is the foundation of my wealth, my destiny is in Him. You give me my wealth. My boundaries passed through beautiful places; my property is desirable to me. I will bless the Lord, who taught me: even at night my heart guided me. I see the Lord always before me, for He is near me, so that I will not be shaken. And behold, my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced; even my flesh will dwell in the earth with hope: For You will not leave my soul in hell, nor will You allow Your righteous to know corruption. You told me the ways of life; fill me with joy before Your face: bliss is in Your right hand forever.
