I will bless the Lord at all times; I will put His praise in my mouth. My soul will glory in the Lord, that the meek may hear and rejoice. Magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together. Seek the Lord and hear me, and deliver me from all my sorrows. Come to Him and be enlightened, and your faces will not be ashamed. This beggar cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him from all his sorrows. The Angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear Him, and will deliver them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Nan. Fear the Lord, all you saints, for those who fear Him will have no hardship. The poor and the hungry are rich, but those who seek the Lord will not be deprived of any good. Come, children, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is the man who, even if he lives, loves the days of seeing good things? Keep your tongue from evil, and keep your lips from uttering flattery. Avoid evil and do good. Seek peace and get married. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are upon their prayer.

The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, even to consume their remembrance from the earth. You cried out for righteousness, and the Lord heard them, and delivered them from all their sorrows. The Lord is near to those who are broken-hearted, and will save those who are humble in spirit. There will be many sorrows for the righteous, and the Lord will deliver them from all of them. The Lord protects all their bones, not one of them will be broken. The death of sinners is cruel, and those who hate the righteous will sin. The Lord will deliver the souls of His servant, and all who trust in Him will not sin. I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise will never cease in my mouth. My soul will praise the Lord; let the meek hear me and rejoice. Magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name! I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my sorrows. Come to Him and be enlightened, and you will not suffer shame. So the poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him from all his sorrows. The Angel of the Lord will protect those who fear Him and deliver them. Taste and see how good the Lord is; blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

Fear the Lord, all you His saints, for those who fear Him do not suffer hardship. The rich became poor and hungry; but those who seek the Lord will not lose any good thing. Come, children, listen to me, I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Which person truly loves life and longs to see good days? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking evil! Avoid evil and do good; desire peace and strive for it! The eyes of the Lord are turned to the righteous, and His ear is to their prayer. But the Lord shows His wrath to those who do evil, so that the memory of them may be destroyed from the earth. The righteous cried out, and the Lord heard them and delivered them from all their sorrows. The Lord is close to those who are broken-hearted, and He will save those who are humble in spirit. The righteous have many sorrows, and the Lord will deliver them from them all. The Lord protects all their bones; not one of them will be broken. The death of sinners is cruel, and those who hate the righteous will sin. The Lord will deliver the souls of His servants, and all who trust in Him will not sin.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 34

Psalm to David.
Psalm of David, 34.

Judge, Lord, those who offend me, overcome those who fight me. Take the weapon and the shield, and rise to my help. Take away the sword and imprison those who persecute me. The words of my soul: I am your salvation. Let those who seek my soul be ashamed and put to shame, let those who think evil about me turn back and be ashamed. Let them be like dust before the wind, and the Angel of the Lord insulting them. Let their path be dark and creeping, and the Angel of the Lord chase them: for I hid the destruction of my net in vain, reproaching my soul in vain. Let a net come to him that he knows not, and let a trap that is hidden embrace him, and let him fall into the net. My soul will rejoice in the Lord, it will rejoice in His salvation. All my bones cry out: Lord, Lord, who is like You? Deliver the poor from the hand of those who strong him, and the poor and the wretched from those who plunder him. Having stood up as a witness to unrighteousness, even though I did not know, I questioned me. I have rewarded the evil one with a good cart, and the childlessness of my soul.

But when I felt cold, I put on sackcloth and humbled my soul with fasting, and my prayer returned to my bosom. As we please our neighbor, as our brother, we humble ourselves as weeping and lamenting. And she rejoiced at me and gathered herself together: she gathered her wounds against me, and did not know, she was divided, and she was not touched. Tempt me, imitate me with imitation, grind your teeth on me. Lord, when will you see? Protect my soul from their wickedness, from the lion of my only begotten. I will confess to You in the church among many, among the heavy people I will praise You. May those who are at enmity with me unjustly, those who hate me and those who despise me, do not rejoice over me. For I have a peaceful word and thoughts of flattery against anger. You widened your mouth at me, deciding: good, good, you see with our eyes. You have seen it, Lord, but do not remain silent. Lord, don’t leave me. Arise, O Lord, and bring my judgment, O my God and my Lord, upon my land. Judge, O Lord, according to Thy righteousness, O Lord my God, and let them not rejoice over me.

Let them not cry in their hearts: goodness, goodness of our soul; let them not cry: by the devouring of him. Let those who rejoice in my evil be ashamed and put to shame, and let those who speak against me be clothed with shame and shame. Let those who desire my righteousness rejoice and be glad, and let them say, “Glorified be the Lord, who desire peace for His servant.” And my tongue will learn Your righteousness, Your praise all day long. Judge, Lord, those who offend me, defeat those who fight me! Take your weapon and shield and rise to my aid! Draw your sword and block the path of my persecutors! Tell my soul: “Thy salvation is in Me!” May those who seek my death be ashamed and disgraced, may those who wish me harm turn back and be ashamed! May they be like dust blown by the wind, and may the Angel of the Lord drive them out! May their path be dark and slippery, and may the Angel of the Lord pursue them! For without my guilt they laid their destructive snares for me, in vain they reviled my soul. May each of them be entangled in a net that he does not expect, and may the trap set by him catch him, and may he fall into the net!

And my soul will rejoice in the Lord, it will rejoice, having been saved by Him. My bones cry out: “Lord, Lord, who is like You?” You deliver the weak from the hand of the strong, the poor and the wretched from the plunderers of their goods. Unrighteous witnesses rose up against me; they questioned me about what I did not know. They rewarded me with evil for good and doomed my soul to oblivion. And when they pursued me, I put on rags and humbled my soul with fasting, and my prayer returned to my heart. Like my neighbor, like my brother, I pleased my enemies; crying and lamenting, he humbled himself. But they gathered against me, triumphant. They were going to inflict wounds on me, and I didn’t even know it; They fell into discord and did not relent. They tempted me, they mocked me, they mocked me, they gnashed their teeth. Lord, when will you see this? Deliver my soul from their villainy, my only soul from the lions! I will glorify You in the great church, among the multitude of people I will praise You. May those who are at enmity with me unjustly, those who hate me in vain and wink at each other, not triumph over me!

For they spoke to me peacefully, but in anger they thought of deceit. Opening their mouths to me, they said: “Good for you, good, we saw everything with our own eyes!” You too have seen, Lord, may you not remain silent! Lord, don't leave me! Arise, O Lord, and listen to my righteousness; Lord, my God, intercede for me in my litigation! Judge me, O Lord, according to Thy righteousness, O Lord my God, and let them not triumph over me! May they not say in their hearts: “Good for you, good, we like everything!” And let them not say: “We devoured him!” Let those who rejoice in my troubles be ashamed and disgraced! May those who extol themselves over me be clothed with shame and disgrace! May those who desire my justification rejoice and be glad, and may those who desire peace say to me, His servant: “May the Lord be magnified!” My tongue will learn Your righteousness and praise You every day.
