Живо́тъ во гро́бѣ возлежа́ше, и҆ печа́ть на ка́мени надлежа́ше: / ꙗ҆́кѡ цр҃ѧ̀ спѧ́ща во́ини стрежа́хꙋ хрⷭ҇та̀, / и҆ врагѝ своѧ̑ неви́димѡ порази́вый, воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь.
Life in the grave layeth, and the seal upon the stone was set:
For the King slept, watching warriors guarding Jesus,
and the invisible enemy smote his foes, raising the Lord.
Сті́хъ: И҆сповѣ́мсѧ тебѣ̀ гдⷭ҇и, всѣ́мъ се́рдцемъ мои́мъ, повѣ́мъ всѧ̑ чꙋдеса̀ твоѧ̑.
Stichos: And I will confess to Thee, O Lord, with all my heart, and I will proclaim all Thy wonders.
Преднаписꙋ́етъ і҆ѡ́на гро́бъ тво́й, / и҆ сказꙋ́етъ сѷмеѡ́нъ воста́нїе бж҃е́ственное, безсме́ртне гдⷭ҇и: / соше́лъ бо є҆сѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ ме́ртвъ во гро́бъ, разрꙋши́вый а҆́дѡва врата̀. / воскрⷭ҇лъ же є҆сѝ кромѣ̀ тлѣ́нїѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ влⷣка, / во сп҃се́нїе мі́ра, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е на́шъ, / просвѣти́вый сꙋ́щыѧ во тьмѣ̀.
Thou prescribest the grave for Thyself, O One; and Symeon saith the resurrection of the divine, immortal life, to the Lord:
For Thou didst descend as though dead into the grave, breaking the gates of hell.
And Thou didst rise again beyond corruption, as Master,
In the salvation of the world, Theotokos, Thou hast enlightened us,
Having shone upon them that were in darkness.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ, и҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. а҆ми́нь.
Glory to Thee, O God, and to Thy Christ, and to Thy Holy Spirit, both now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Theotokos: Lord God, have mercy on us.
Blessed Theotokos, Lady, pray to Thy Son,
who, by the will of Him who was nailed upon the cross,
and raised up Jesus Christ our King from the dead,
save our souls.
