Живо́тъ во гро́бѣ возлежа́ше, и҆ печа́ть на ка́мени надлежа́ше: / ꙗ҆́кѡ цр҃ѧ̀ спѧ́ща во́ини стрежа́хꙋ хрⷭ҇та̀, / и҆ врагѝ своѧ̑ неви́димѡ порази́вый, воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь.
Life in the grave layeth, and the seal upon the stone was set:
For the King sleeping, the holy warriors kept watch over Jesus,
and the invisible enemy smote his foes, raising up the Lord.
Сті́хъ: И҆сповѣ́мсѧ тебѣ̀ гдⷭ҇и, всѣ́мъ се́рдцемъ мои́мъ, повѣ́мъ всѧ̑ чꙋдеса̀ твоѧ̑.
Stichos: And I will confess to Thee, O Lord, with all my heart, and I will proclaim all Thy wonders.
Преднаписꙋ́етъ і҆ѡ́на гро́бъ тво́й, / и҆ сказꙋ́етъ сѷмеѡ́нъ воста́нїе бж҃е́ственное, безсме́ртне гдⷭ҇и: / соше́лъ бо є҆сѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ ме́ртвъ во гро́бъ, разрꙋши́вый а҆́дѡва врата̀. / воскрⷭ҇лъ же є҆сѝ кромѣ̀ тлѣ́нїѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ влⷣка, / во сп҃се́нїе мі́ра, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е на́шъ, / просвѣти́вый сꙋ́щыѧ во тьмѣ̀.
Prepisanuji tebe grob svoi, / i Semen vostanije bogoslovnije, besmertne, glosi: / soeshel bo esi kak mernev vo grob, razrushiviy adova vrata. / Voskresliже esi krome tlenija kak vlaste, / vosposlushaniye mira, khriste nashe, / prosvetilysesi sushyanye vo tmy.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ, и҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. а҆ми́нь.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, and now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Theotokos: Lord God, have mercy on us.
Into Thy hands I commend my spirit:
For Thou hast willed it, O Lover of Souls,
Whose right hand hath pierced and raised up Jesus Christ our King
From the depths of death,
That our souls may be saved.
