Живо́тъ во гро́бѣ возлежа́ше, и҆ печа́ть на ка́мени надлежа́ше: / ꙗ҆́кѡ цр҃ѧ̀ спѧ́ща во́ини стрежа́хꙋ хрⷭ҇та̀, / и҆ врагѝ своѧ̑ неви́димѡ порази́вый, воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь.
Life in the grave lay, and the seal upon the stone was set:
For the King slept, watched over by the holy warriors,
and the invisible enemy smote his foes, raising the Lord.
Сті́хъ: И҆сповѣ́мсѧ тебѣ̀ гдⷭ҇и, всѣ́мъ се́рдцемъ мои́мъ, повѣ́мъ всѧ̑ чꙋдеса̀ твоѧ̑.
Stichos: I confess to Thee, Lord, with all my heart, and I proclaim all Thy wonders.
Преднаписꙋ́етъ і҆ѡ́на гро́бъ тво́й, / и҆ сказꙋ́етъ сѷмеѡ́нъ воста́нїе бж҃е́ственное, безсме́ртне гдⷭ҇и: / соше́лъ бо є҆сѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ ме́ртвъ во гро́бъ, разрꙋши́вый а҆́дѡва врата̀. / воскрⷭ҇лъ же є҆сѝ кромѣ̀ тлѣ́нїѧ ꙗ҆́кѡ влⷣка, / во сп҃се́нїе мі́ра, хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е на́шъ, / просвѣти́вый сꙋ́щыѧ во тьмѣ̀.
Prepares thy grave, O One,
and Symeon saith the resurrection of the holy, immortal Lord:
for thou hast gone down to death, O Christ, having burst asunder the gates of hell.
And thou hast risen again beyond corruption, O Master,
for the salvation of the world, bearing in Thy arms our God,
having enlightened them that were in darkness.

Бг҃оро́диченъ: Бцⷣе дв҃о, молѝ сн҃а твоего̀, / во́лею пригвожде́ннаго на крⷭ҇тѣ̀, / и҆ воскрⷭ҇шаго и҆з̾ ме́ртвыхъ хрⷭ҇та̀ бг҃а на́шего, / сп҃сти́сѧ дꙋша́мъ на́шымъ.
The Theotokos: O Lord God, save our souls according to Thy will,
who by Thy will was nailed upon the cross,
and raised up Jesus Christ our Lord from the dead,
that our souls may be saved.

O Lord, have mercy, Amen.
