Гро́бꙋ ѿве́рстꙋ, а҆́дꙋ пла́чꙋщꙋсѧ, / мр҃і́а вопїѧ́ше ко скры́вшымсѧ а҆пⷭ҇лѡмъ: / и҆зыди́те вїногра́да дѣ́лателїе, / проповѣ́дите воскрⷭ҇нїѧ сло́во: / воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь, подаѧ̀ мі́рови ве́лїю млⷭ҇ть.
When the grave was opened and those weeping stood by,
the Resurrection cried out to them that had hidden themselves:
"Bring forth the vineyard's produce,
proclaim the word of resurrection:
rise, O Lord, and give a great gift of mercy."

O Lord, before Thy grave where Mary Magdalene stood weeping and beseeching the governor thereof, she spake thus:
Where hast Thou hidden the eternal life;
where didst Thou lay it, upon the table of cherubim?
For keeping watch over this, they have fallen asleep through fear.
Give me also, O Lord, to cry with them:
Even though I was dead in the midst of the dead, I arose with Thee, glory be to Thee.

I love Thee, O Lord, my stronghold: Thou art the strength of my heart, and my refuge, and my sanctuary, and my deliverer, God My King, my helper, and I trust in Thee: my protector, and the horn of my salvation, and my defender. I invoke Thee, O Lord, from enemies. Thy hands have supported me against deadly diseases, and Thy wounds healed me: Thou hast visited me with the ills of hell, and laid snares for me to death. And when I was in distress, I called upon Thee, and cried out to My God: Thou heardst my voice from Thy holy temple, and my cry came before Thee. The earth moved and trembled, and its foundations were shaken and quaked, because of the anger of Thee against me, O God. Smoke went up in anger from Thee, and fire from Thy face was kindled: coals blazed forth from Thee. Thou didst bow down heaven, and it came down; darkness covered the ground beneath. It went up on the cherubim, and flew on the wings of a wind. Thou didst lay Thy hand upon it: the moon turned away before Thee: darkness was in the clouds above. From the brightness before Thee, the clouds passed by, the city and fiery fire. And Thou thundered from heaven, and Thou gavest forth Thy voice from high. Thou sentest arrows and scattered them, and multiplied the lightning and smote them. And Thou openedst up fountains of water, and loosed the foundations of the earth from their bonds, O Lord, from the inspiration of the Spirit of Thine anger. Thou didst send from above and gave me rest, and received me from many waters. Thou hast delivered me from strong enemies and from those who hate me: for Thou art stronger than I. Thou didst precede me in the day of my affliction, and Thou becamest my strength. And Thou leddest me to freedom: Thou didst deliver me according as I desired. And Thou shalt reward me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to the cleanness of my hands before Thee. For I have kept Thy ways and have not been unrighteous from My God. For all the judgments of Thee are before me, and the righteousness of Thee has not departed from me. And I shall be blameless with Thee and keep myself from the lawlessness of mine own. And Thou shalt reward me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and the cleanness of my hands before Thy eyes. With the Venerable thou shalt be, and with the innocent thou shalt be innocent, and with the chosen thou shalt be chosen, and with the rebellious thou shalt be corrupted. For Thou hast delivered men of lowly spirit from their enemies; and Thou hast humbled proud ones by them. For Thou hast enlightened my lamp, O Lord: My God, Thou hast enlightened my darkness. For by Thee I am delivered from temptation, and by My God I pass through the wall. O God, Thy way is blameless: Thy words are kindled as a light. He is a protector of all who trust in Him. For who is God but Thee; or who is God but our God? Thou hast strengthened me with power, and laid a blameless path before me: working wonders for my soul like Elias, and setting me on high: teaching my hands to fight, and Thou didst put a golden bow in mine arm: and Thou gavest me the protection of salvation, and Thy right hand received me: and Thy chastisement shall correct me at the end, and Thy chastisement will instruct me. Thou didst enlarge my steps under me, and I was not faint-hearted. Thou hast smitten my enemies, and overtook them, and they returned not until they were consumed: I have afflicted them, and they could not stand before my feet. And Thou hast strengthened me with power for battle, and Thou hast slept all who arose against me beneath me. And Thou gavest me the back of my enemies and the hating ones Thou didst deprive of their way. Thou didst call, but there was no deliverance: to Thee I called, and Thou hearddest not them. And they were as dust before the face of a wind, as chaff that passeth away. Thou hast delivered me from the quarrels of men: Thou hast set me at the head of tongues: people whom I knew not worked for me, and in the hearing of Thy ears they obeyed me. Sons of strangers lied to me, sons of strangers swore and defiled their own way. He is alive, O Lord, and blessed be God; and may God raise up my salvation, God giving rest to me and making men subject under me, my deliverer from the angry enemies of mine: from those who arose against me Thou didst exalt me, and from a just man Thou didst save me. For this cause I will confess Thee in the tongues, O Lord, and praise Thy name: magnifying Thy salvation, O King, and making Thy prayer for Christ Thine own and of His seed to the age.
