Гро́бꙋ ѿве́рстꙋ, а҆́дꙋ пла́чꙋщꙋсѧ, / мр҃і́а вопїѧ́ше ко скры́вшымсѧ а҆пⷭ҇лѡмъ: / и҆зыди́те вїногра́да дѣ́лателїе, / проповѣ́дите воскрⷭ҇нїѧ сло́во: / воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь, подаѧ̀ мі́рови ве́лїю млⷭ҇ть.
When the grave was opened and the weeping ones stood by,
the Resurrection cried out to those hidden in the apostles:
"Bring forth the vineyard of them that made it,
preach the word of the resurrection:
rise, O Lord, giving the world great mercy."

O Lord, standing before thy grave, Magdalene weepeth, beseeching the governor thereof:
Where didst thou hide the eternal life;
Where laidst thou, upon the table with cherubim?
For watching over this, through fear they have fallen asleep.
Give me also, O Lord, to cry together:
Even where I was dead, having risen from the dead, glory be to thee.

I love Thee, O Lord, my stronghold: Thou art the strength of my heart, and my refuge, and my fortress, and my deliverer, God my Saviour, my Helper, to whom I cry for help: The Defender, and the horn of my salvation, and my protector. I invoke Thee from on high against my enemies. Thy hands have held me up in sickness and death; Thou hast healed me from the snares of lawlessness; the snares of hell have ensnared me, foretelling my death. And when sorrow overcame me, I cried to Thee and besought God: From the sanctuary of His holy temple heard My voice, and Thy cry was before Him. The earth trembled and its foundations were shaken, and the mountains melted with fear at Thee. A smoke went up from His anger, and a fire blazed forth from His face; sparks leaped out from it. And Thou didst descend from heaven with a cloud of glory: the moon turned pale before Thee, and darkness covered the earth. Thou wentest on to the cherubim, and flew upon wings of wind. Thou didst lay Thy hand upon them: the stars stood still at Thee: darkness was in the clouds above. From the brightness of Thy presence the clouds passed away, the city and the fiery flames. And Thou didst thunder from heaven, and the voice of Thy power went forth. Thou didst send arrows and smote the foe; and multiplied the lightning and scattered them. And Thou didst open fountains of living waters, and the foundations of the world were uncovered by Thy commandment, O Lord: from the inspiration of Thine angry Spirit. From heaven Thou didst descend with a pleasant gift for me, and received me from many waters. Thou didst preserve me from strong enemies and those who hated me; for Thou art stronger than I. Thou didst prepare me on the day of my affliction: and Thou art the strength of my heart. Thou didst lead me to liberty: as Thou wouldest, O Lord. And Thou shalt reward me according to my righteousness, and according to the cleanness of my hands before Thee; for I have kept Thy ways and have not been unrighteous from God My Saviour. For all the judgments of Thee are before me, and the righteousness of Thee has never departed from me. And I shall be blameless with Thee and keep myself from lawlessness. And Thou shalt reward me according to my righteousness and the cleanness of my hands before Thy eyes. With the venerable one thou shalt be, and with the innocent thou shalt be innocent, and with the chosen thou shalt be chosen, and with the rebellious thou shalt be made drunk. For Thou hast delivered men of lowly spirit from their enemies; and Thou hast humbled proud ones by them. For Thou hast enlightened my lamp, O Lord: my God, Thou hast enlightened my darkness. For by Thee I am saved from temptation, and through Thy Saviour I pass the wall. My God, a blameless path is Thine: Thy words are kindled like a torch. A Defender of all who hope in Thee. For who is God but Thee? And who is God except our God? Thou hast strengthened me with power; Thou hast laid down a blameless path for me: as an olive Thou hast made my steps firm, and Thou hast taught my hands to fight, and Thou hast put a golden bow in mine hand: and Thou hast given me the protection of salvation, and Thy right hand received me: and Thy chastisement shall correct me at the end, and Thy chastisement will instruct me. Thou didst enlarge my steps under me, and I was not faint-hearted. Thou didst smite my enemies, and overtook them, and they returned not until they were consumed: I grieved for them, and they could not stand, they fell before my feet. And Thou hast strengthened me with power in battle, and Thou hast slept all those who rose up against me under me. And Thou hast given me the back of my enemies and hast delivered from hatred those who hated me. Thou didst not deliver, and they cried to Thee, but Thou heardst them not. And as dust before the face of a wind, as chaff that passeth away by the way, so have Thou preserved me from the quarrels of men: Thou hast set me at the head of peoples: strangers worked for me, and in the hearing of Thy ears they obeyed me. Sons of strangers lied to me, sons of strangers swore and defiled their own paths. Living, blessed is God; and let God arise, and bless my salvation, God giving me recompense and subduing men under me, my deliverer from my enemies' wrath: from those who rose up against me Thou didst exalt me, and from the unjust man Thou didst preserve me. For this cause I will confess Thee in the tongues, O Lord, and praise Thy name: magnifying Thy salvation, O King, and making Thy prayer for Christ Thine own twice seven times to the ages of ages.
