Гро́бꙋ ѿве́рстꙋ, а҆́дꙋ пла́чꙋщꙋсѧ, / мр҃і́а вопїѧ́ше ко скры́вшымсѧ а҆пⷭ҇лѡмъ: / и҆зыди́те вїногра́да дѣ́лателїе, / проповѣ́дите воскрⷭ҇нїѧ сло́во: / воскр҃се гдⷭ҇ь, подаѧ̀ мі́рови ве́лїю млⷭ҇ть.
When the grave was opened and the weeping ones stood by,
the Resurrection cried out to those hidden in the apostles:
"Bring forth the vineyard of the makers,
proclaim the word of the resurrection:
rise, O Lord, giving the world great mercy."

O Lord, standing before thy grave, Magdalene weeps, beseeching the governor thereof:
Where didst thou hide the eternal life;
Where didst thou lay it, upon the table of cherubim?
For keeping watch over this, they have fallen asleep through fear.
Give me also whereof I may say with thee:
Even though I was dead in the midst of the dead, I have risen again, glory to thee.

I love Thee, O Lord, my stronghold: Thou art the strength of my heart, and my refuge, and my fortress, and my deliverer, God my Saviour, my Helper, to whom I cry for help: The Defender of my soul, and the horn of my salvation, and my protector. I call upon Thee from the heights against my enemies; Thou hast supported me in my sicknesses, and healed me of my sins; the ills of hell have afflicted me, they were a snare to me. And when I was sorrowful, I called upon Thee, and cried out to Thy holy temple: Thy voice from the sanctuary heard my cry, and my prayer came before Thee. The earth moved and trembled, and its foundations quaked, because of Thine anger against them; the smoke of Thine wrath rose up, and fire from Thy face kindled: the flames blazed forth from Thee. Thou didst descend with Thy heavenly glory, and darkness covered Thy feet: Thou wentest on high, and flew upon the wings of the wind. Thou didst lay a covering over Thee; the moon stood still before Thee: dark waters in the clouds above. From the brightness before Thee, the clouds passed away, the city and fiery flames. Thou didst thunder from Thy heavens, and the voice of Thy power came forth. Thou didst send arrows to scatter them, and multiplied the lightnings to smite them. And Thou openedst up fountains of living waters, and loosedest the foundations of the earth from their bonds, O Lord, from the inspiration of Thine angry Spirit. Thou didst descend from the heights with a pleasant sound, and receivedst me from many waters. Thou didst preserve me from strong enemies and those who hated me: for Thou art stronger than them. Thou didst precede me on the day of my humiliation, and Thou becamest my strength. Thou didst lead me to freedom: as I desired Thee. And Thou shalt reward me according to my righteousness, and according to the cleanness of my hands before Thy eyes; for I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not been unrighteous from my God. For all the judgments of the Lord are before me, and the righteousness of the Lord has not failed me. And I shall be blameless with Thee, and keep myself from sin. And Thou shalt reward me according to my righteousness and the cleanness of my hands before Thy eyes. With the Venerable thou shalt be, and with the innocent thou shalt be innocent, and with the chosen thou shalt be chosen, and with the rebellious thou shalt be corrupted. For Thou hast delivered men of lowly spirit from their enemies; and Thou hast humbled the proud by them. For Thou hast enlightened my lamp, O Lord: my God, Thou hast enlightened my darkness. For by Thee I am saved from temptation, and by Thy God I pass through the wall. My God, a blameless path is Thine: Thy words are kindled like a fire. A Defender of all who hope in Thee. For who is God but Thee; or who is God except our God? Thou hast strengthened me with power, and laid a blameless path before me: as an olive Thou hast set me on high, instructing my hands for battle, and Thou didst put the bow of brass into my hand: Thou gavest me protection from danger, and Thy right hand received me: and Thy chastisement shall correct me at the end, and Thy chastisement will teach me. Thou didst enlarge my steps under me, and I was not faint in my going. Thou hast overcome my enemies, and smitten them, so that they could not return until they are consumed: I have wept over them, and they were not able to stand before my feet. And with Thy power Thou hast fought for me, and Thou didst slay all who rose up against me under me. And Thou gavest me the back of my enemies and those who hated me. Thou didst not deliver them, nor hear their cry. And they were as dust before the face of a wind, as chaff that passeth away by the way. Thou hast delivered me from the reproach of men: Thou hast set me at the head of peoples: people whom I knew not worked for me, and in the hearing of my ears they obeyed me. Sons of strangers lied to me, sons of strangers swore falsely and defiled their own paths. Living, O Lord, blessed be God; may God lift up my salvation, God giving me forgiveness and subduing men under me, my deliverer from enemies who are wrathful: from those who rose against me Thou didst exalt me, from the unjust man Thou didst save me. For this I will confess Thee in the tongues, O Lord, and praise Thy name: praising the salvation of the King and making prayer to Christ Thine own Son and the seed of Him for ever.
