Image of the pure joy of Thy glory, O unquenchable flame: now let us beg to quench the fierce calamities upon us, that we may ever magnify Thee, O Theotokos.

As, O people without law and disobedient, plotting together with the crafty, they justly judged the proud and unrighteous: but the Most High upon the ancient wood judged Him, whom we worthy glorify!

Holy Incense pure, which takest the sin of peace, we glorify Thee, Risen Thou on the third day with Thy Holy and Glorious Spirit, and the Father and the Son: Him we praise, singing His holy Name.

O Theotokos,

Spasi ludi tvoiye, gdoje, ihiye stiejal'e chestnoyeye tvoyeye krov'iye, tsarkvam'y tvoim'y podayem mir', chlevkolubche, btsyi ml'tvami.
Venerable Irmos: Strange Mystery:

With an unspeakable power, Thy might, O Lord, Thou didst bless Thee, O Thou Who art weak, more than the strength of all hath prevailed: by Whose strength the mighty were cast down to the earth, and the poor are raised up unto the Theotokos.

Let death, O foul death, be slain; by the resurrection of the dead: for thou, having overcome the living in the netherworld, didst give life freely. Therefore we praise thee as life and resurrection and light, O Life from the dead.

Eternal nature and unbounded, in three it knows the unity of God's principal essences, in the Holy Spirit, in the Son, and in the Father: upon which by God's wisdom men hope, being saved.
And Irmos: Image of Purity:

And from the root two shoots sprang forth, both divine and Theotokal: but thou, O Virgin, truly didst glorify them, having brought forth the Incarnate One of glory: of whom we worthily magnify Him.

Every praiseworthy, commendable commandment is overcome by the greatness of Thy glory, O Lady. But, O Master, receiving from Thy unworthy servants what is offered in love for Thee with heartfelt praise, receive it with joy.

More precious than thy wonders! For thou alone art more glorious than the sun, having given to all understanding of the newest wonder, O All-holy, whose nativity cannot be comprehended. Wherefore we glorify thee, all ye.
