Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Image of the pure joy of Thy glory, O unquenchable flame: now let us entreat that our present fierce calamity may be quenched, that we continually magnify Thee, O Theotokos.

As, O people without law and without subjection, plotting together with a crafty heart against the proud and unrighteous: they judged the ancient pillar of the glory, whom we worthy ones glorify!

Holy Incense, pure and sinless, which dost take the guilt of peace, we glorify Thee, Who hast risen on the third day, with Thy Holy and Glorious Spirit, and the Father and the Son: Him we praise, singing His holy name.

O Theotokos,

Spasí ljudi tvoja, Gdje, íxже stěžál′ є́sì chrestnoju tvoju kroviju, crčkvmâ tvojim podajâ myr′, chlcvokljubche, Bcje mlytvami.
Venerable Irmos: Strange Mystery:

With ineffable power, Thy might, O Lord, Thou didst bless Thee, O weak one; for more powerful than all hast Thou become through Thine own weakness: by Thy strength the mighty were cast down to the earth, and the poor are raised up unto the Theotokos.

Let death, our vile death, be slain by the resurrection of the dead: for Thou, O Lord, having dwelt in the realm of the living dead, hast given life freely. Therefore we praise Thee as Life and Resurrection and Light.

Eternal nature and unbounded, in three it knows the unity, of God-primal essences one Divine Being, in Spirit, and Word, and Fount: upon which by God's wisdom men hoping, are saved.
And Irmos: Image of Purity:

From the root of two there sprang forth a prophecy of two, and God's oracle: but thou, O Virgin, truly didst glorify them both, having brought forth the prophesied glory: whereof we worthily magnify Him.

Every praiseworthy, blameless commandment is overcome by the greatness of thy glory. But O Lady, receiving from thy unworthy servants the offering of love for thee with sincere praise, let us sing a praiseful hymn.

More precious than thy wonders! For thou art double in unity, more than the sun, giving to all understanding of the newest wonder, O All-holy, whose conception none can fathom. Wherefore we glorify thee, all ye.
