Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal is our hope;
For life is not in vain bestowed,
But through life we find our scope.
In every moment let us strive,
To seek the life that truly lives,
Not in delusion, but in truth,
Where compunction ever thrives.
Stranger to this world's deceit,
Let us be creatures of the light,
That in Thy power we may meet
The glory that doth shine so bright.
For Thou art our only hope,
In Thee alone we find our peace;
Through Thine almighty right hand's cope,
We walk with courage, not with cease.
Image of the pure joy of Thy glory, O unquenchable flame: and now let us beg to quench the fierce calamities upon us, that we may continually praise Thee, O Theotokos.
As, O people without law and without subjection, plotting together with a crafty heart, they justified the proud and unrighteous: but the Most High upon the ancient wood judged Him, whom we worthy ones glorify!
Hallowed be the Lamb unspotted, which tookst the sin of the world upon Thee, and glorifying Thee as Risen on the third day, with Thy Holy Spirit and Thy glorious Majesty, we praise Thee: for Whom God speaketh, we magnify.
O Theotokos,
Spasí people Thee, O Lord, and those who waited for Thee with Thy holy blood, giving peace to Thy churches, O Lover of mankind, by Thy prayers, Theotokos.

Strannoye Taina:
O Lord, God,
This strange Mystery:
Thou hast shown Thyself a Stranger,
In power Thou dost reign,
And in compunction of heart Thou dost give salvation.
For by Thine Incarnation the heavens were opened,
And the nature of this mortal life did see Thee as its Saviour.
With Thee is glory, O Lord, to Thee be honour and worship,
Together with Thy Mother and Thy Spirit, now and ever,
And unto ages of ages.
Through an unspeakable power, Thy holy and weak one was strengthened more than all by Thee, O Lord: with strength Thou didst cast down the mighty from their thrones, and lifted up the lowly to Thee.
Let death, O hateful death of ours, be slain by the Resurrection of the dead: for Thou, having dwelt in the living among the dead, hast given life freely. Therefore we praise Thee as Life and Resurrection and Light.
Eternal nature and unbounded, in three it knows the unity, of God-primal essences one divine essence, in Spirit, and Word, and Flesh: on which by God-wisdom men hoping, are saved.

And Irmos: Image of Purity:
From the root of two there blossomed a prophecy of two, and God's oracle: but thou, O Virgin, truly didst glorify them both, having brought forth the prophesied of glory: of whom we worthily magnify the Name.
Every praiseworthy, glorious commandment is overcome by the greatness of Thy glory, O Lady. But, O Master, receiving from Thy unworthy servants the offering of love for Thee with heartfelt praise, grant us mercy.
More precious than thy wonders! For thou art alone more than the sun, O All-compassionate, granting to all a new understanding of thy most ineffable mystery. Therefore we glorify thee.
