Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) and we are in death; Thou art light and we walk in darkness; Thou art truth and we speak lies. We thank Thee not as is meet, but suddenly (напрасно) we are filled with compunction of heart (умиление). Therefore let us cry to Thee, O Lord: Have mercy on us!
Image of the pure joy of Thy glory, O unquenchable fire, Thou hast shown: and now let us pray that this fierce calamity may be quenched, that we continually magnify Thee, O Theotokos.
As, O people without law and without subjection, plotting together with a proud and unrighteous heart, they justly judged the proud and unholy: but the Lord, who is worthy of glory, judged him on the ancient wood, whom we rightly glorify!
Hallowed be the Agnus Dei pure, which taketh away the sin of the world, we glorify Thee, risen Thou on the third day with Thy holy and glorious Body, and the Theotokos: O Soul and Spirit, praising Him, we magnify Him.
O Theotokos,
Spasí people Thee, Lord, and those who waited for Thee with Thy holy blood, giving peace to Thy churches, O Lover of mankind, through Thy prayers, Theotokos.

Through an unspeakable power, Thy holy and weak one was strengthened more than all by Thee, O Lord: by Whose strength the mighty were cast down to the earth, and the poor were raised up unto the Theotokos.
Let death, our vile death, be slain by the Resurrection of the dead: for Thou, O Lord, having dwelt in the realm of the living dead, hast given life freely. Therefore we praise Thee as Life and Resurrection and Light.
Eternal nature and unbounded, in three it knows the unity of God's principal essences, in the Theotokos, and the Spirit: upon which by God's wisdom men hope, being saved.

From the root of two there sprang forth a prophecy of two, and God's oracle: but thou, O Virgin, truly didst glorify them both, having brought forth the prophesied of glory: of whom we worthily magnify the Name.
Every praiseworthy, blameless commandment is overcome by the greatness of thy glory, O Lady. But, O Master, receiving from thy unworthy servants the offering of love for thee with a sincere hymn, glorify.
More precious than thy wonders! For thou art alone more than the sun, granting to all a new understanding of thy greatest wonder, O All-holy, whose womb no one can fathom. Wherefore we glorify thee, all ye.
