O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
unto Thee do we lift up our soul,
for Thou art our Life and our Salvation,
and from the snare of death Thou deliverest us.

Let us fall into the last abyss, there being none to deliver us; we have fallen prostrate, O Lord our God: save Thy people, for Thou art the strength of the weak and the correction thereof.

By the sin of the uncreated Word of God, we have been greatly envenomed; but early by Thy healing we were healed, for which Thou didst suffer venom for us: for Thou art the strength of the weak and the correction thereof.

Exalted hast Thou, O Lord, from the abyss, the slayer of every creature, all-powerful by Thy power didst Thou subdue His strength: for Thou art Life, and Light, and Resurrection.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice with Thee, O Lord, two generations of our forefathers, who have received Thy wheat and by their transgression have destroyed it: for Thou art the Wheat, and before Thee was the harvest, and from the harvest wast Thou.

And from the bowels of Him:

Oumъ syй bezstrastenъ i neveshestvenъ, primešaetsja Khristos bogu čelovečeskomu uomu, khodataystvuyushemu bzhestvennymъ estyetstvomъ, plotiже debelystemъ, i nemy noprelenъ soediniсsja: da spasenie vsemu mně padshemу podastъ raspinayemъ.

Falling into spiritual deception, Adam, groaning, is crushed; having hope in the ancient obedience: but he rises by the union of the sanctified word, and by passion receives without passion, to be glorified on the throne, sitting with the Father and the Spirit.

O Theotokos,

Hidest not the Fount of unoriginated Parent, in its depths the Maiden's dwelling is established, and wherefore before motherless, fatherless, it is made manifest by God: this birth, O terrible and ineffable.

And Irmos: Have mercy on us:

Servants of the Lord stand before Thy mystery, O heavenly, admiring Thy holy and ever-virgin Conception: for Thou didst receive the conception, even before the conception, and by the conception.

Let Thy Word, O Lord, which was made flesh before it was without form, and which Thou didst precreate by Thine own will, bring forth from nothingness the无形军兵,使他们归于存在。

Ouermerished been the enemy by Thy life-giving fruit, O God-blessed: and hath been revealed the adversary, and whom we have set at liberty in the bonds. Therefore I cry: O Break Thou the passions within my heart.
