Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death destroyed;
For death came to us through a stranger,
But by One from our own creation.

Through Him who is the Life,
Let us cry to our God:
Glory, power, mercy, and truth!

Let us fall into the last abyss, and there be none to deliver us; let us prostrate ourselves as sheep, O Lord, our God: for Thou art the strength of the weak and the correction thereof.

By the sin of the uncreated Lord, we have been cruelly entangled; but early have we been healed by Thee, Whom Thou didst entangle for us with Thy own self: for Thou art the strength of the weak and the correction.

Exalted hast Thou, O Lord, from the abyss, the slayer of every creature, all-powerful, by Thy power Thou didst subdue His strength: for Thou art life, and light, and resurrection.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice with Thee, O Lord, two generations of our forefathers, who have received Thy wheat and by their transgression have destroyed it: for Thou art the wheat, and before Thee was the harvest, and in the harvest wast Thou.

And Iirmos: From the bowels of her, O Theotokos.

Falling into spiritual deception, Adam, groaning and sighing, is crushed; hoping in the ancient confession of faith: but he rises by the union of the word of faith, and by passion receives impassibility, for on the throne shall he be glorified, sitting with the Father and the Spirit.

O Theotokos,

Not shall the depths depart from their unoriginated Parent, in the depths dwelling doth the Virgin's offspring establish itself, and wherefore before motherless, fatherless, it is made incarnate, and by righteousness doth God bear witness: this birth most terrible and ineffable now cometh to pass.

And Irmos: Have mercy on us:

Servants of Thee, O humble ones before Thy mystery, beholding the worthy birth of Thine only-begotten: for Thou didst partake, and before the mystery, and by the mystery wast thou.

Let Him be made flesh before His own self, the Word written by Thee, O Lord, by Thy all-powerful will, and bring forth from non-existence the无形之军,因为全能。
