Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!
Let us fall down as sheep in prayer, O God our King: save us from the last abyss, for there is none to deliver us; Thou art our strength and our restoration.
By the sin of the uncreated Word of God, we have been greatly envenomed; but early have we been healed by Thee, Whom for us the uncreated One hath envenomed: for Thou art the strength of the weak and their correction.
Exalted hast Thou, O Lord, from the grave, from which all devouring death didst crush with Thy mighty power: for Thou art Life, and Light, and Resurrection.
O Theotokos,
Rejoice ye with Him who is pleasing to Thee, the double portion of our fathers' progenitors, whom we have received from Thee by Thy gift, through whose transgression they were destroyed: for Thou art pleasing, and before Thee was the grain offering, and in the grain offering wast Thou.
And Irmos: From the bowels of Him:
Falling into spiritual deception, Adam, groaning and sighing, is crushed; hoping in the ancient confession of faith: but he rises by the union of the word of faith, and by passion receives the impassible, to the praise of the Saviour, sitting with the Father and the Spirit.
O Theotokos,
Hidest not the Fount of unoriginated Parent, in its depths the Maiden's dwelling is established, and wherebefore without mother, without father, it was made incarnate, and by righteousness doth God bear witness: this birth is terrible and unspeakable.
And Irmos: Have mercy on us:
Servants of the Lord stand before Thy mystery, O Heavenly One, marveling at Thy stainless Birth: for Thou didst become Incarnate, both before the Incarnation and by the Incarnation.
Let Thy Word, O Lord, which hath been made flesh before it was without form, and which Thou hast written from of old by Thy will, creating all things, bring forth from non-existence the无形军众,因为汝无所不能。
