Irimos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness;
and Thou didst place him on earth as a stranger and a sojourner.
For the time is short, and life is but vanity and emptiness,
and all our ways are darkness; yet Thou art our light and our guide.

Thou hast given us commandments that we may walk in them,
and Thou hast set before us the way of Thy commandments as a lamp.
But we have turned aside from Thee and gone astray, like sheep without a shepherd;
and we have wandered far from the fold of Thy mercy.

Purge us, O Lord, and cleanse us from all our sins,
for we are but dust and ashes, and Thou art our only hope.
Thou art the Way, the Truth, and the Life; and no one cometh to the Father but by Thee.

Let us fall into the last abyss, and there be none to deliver us; we have fallen prostrate as sheep, O Lord our God: for Thou art the strength of the feeble and the correction thereof.

By the sin of the uncreated Word of God, we have been greatly envenomed; but early have we been healed by Thee, Whom for us the uncreated One hath envenomed: for Thou art the strength of the weak and the correction thereof.

Exalted hast Thou, O Lord, from the abyss, the slayer of every creature, all-powerful, by Thy power Thou didst subdue His strength: for Thou art Life, and Light, and Resurrection.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice with Thee, O Lord, two generations of our forefathers, who have eaten Thy wheat, slain by their transgression: for Thou art a sower, and before the sowing, and from the sowing hast Thou been.

And in the morning of His womb:

Falling into spiritual deception, Adam, groaning, is crushed; hoping in the ancient confession of faith: but he rises by the union of the holy word, and by passionless suffering receives it, for on the throne shall he be glorified, sitting with the Father and the Spirit.

O Theotokos,

Hath not the Fount of unoriginated Parentage ceased to flow, in its depths doth the Virgin Mother repose, and wherefore before She was without childbirth, and without a Father did She take on flesh, and by righteousness doth she bear God: lo, this fearful birth and unspeakable.

And Irmos: Have mercy on us:

Servants of the Lord stand before Thy holy mystery, marvelling at Thy pure and ever-virgin Birth: for Thou didst read, even before the reading, and by the reading wast Thou made manifest.

Let Thy Word, O Lord, which was formed before the ages, and which Thou spakest from heaven, by Thine all-powerful will, bring forth from non-existence the无形之言,汝昔已形,自汝口中天上出者,以全能之力,使无有者成有。

Be thou slain, O Enemy, by the fruit of Thy life-giving Incarnation, O God-blessed One; and let the Adversary be uncovered, and in whom we have been set free. Therefore I cry: O Break the bonds of my heart.
