Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) and we are in Thine hand (выну); Thou hast given us understanding (разум) and we have understood Thee not; Thou hast given us knowledge (знанье) and we have known Thee not. We have eaten the bread of sorrow (печаль) and our hearts are hardened (заключены). Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, cried to Thee, and Thee didst hear them from the heavens; Thou art the God of wonders (чудес), the God that doeth signs (дивотворения) in the earth. Thy hand (десница) is strong and Thy right arm (мышца) exalted.

O One, who knowest the weakness of all human creatures and mercifully didst imagine within them, Thou hast deigned to descend from on high with power, O Lover of mankind: Thou, O Enlivened Temple, unspeakably glorious in Thy glory.

God Thy Son is nearer to me than my own flesh, who stooped down and deigned to be incarnate for me, and descended unto me of Thine own will, Thou hast exalted me by Thy passion, O Lover of man: in the Temple alive Thou didst not utter the unspeakable glory of Thine majesty.

Life eternal, O Son of God, Thou hast taken in the withered one, as merciful God didst descend into the pierced breast, death's mighty power thou didst shatter, and on the third day didst rise again, clothing me in incorruption.

O Theotokos,

God, having willed in the womb to double, by the Holy Spirit, wast thou made invincible, because thou didst purchase for thee the lawgiver Moses, who was made invincible through thy ineffable fire, foretelling thus.

And Irmos: Before the ages from the Father:

Who, having taken the erring soul in His own arm and taught it by suffering, and having cast down its sin with a tree, beseecheth God: Raising up our horn, Thou art Lord.

Exalted be the Pastor great and from the depths of hell, and with the Holy Angels we hymn Him with true and pious faith, that we may serve Him.

O Theotokos,

Thou who didst take on flesh without seed by the will of God, and wast born according to the Spirit, by a divine power Thou didst preserve two natures, and over all thou dost cry: Holy art Thou, O Lord.

And Irimos: Alone knoweth:

O cloud light and true, following prophesied words: for behold, upon thee the Lord will bring down Egypt's spiritual deception by His hand, and enlighten them who serve.

Thou sealed icon truly prophetic and fount of grace, and door sealed named the purity of thy virginity, writing to us its holy tokens: wherefore thou didst preserve thee in chastity.

Ouma pressущтенна видěti, gako moščno, spodoblije gaavrjil', dvo voseneporochnaě, radostny tebe glas priniesë, slova zachatija vostvеннě vozvěstjuji, i neizrechno ržhton prопovědajuji.
