Troparion of prophecy, tone 7:

Lord, do not reprove people who have sinned with Your wrath, but punish us with Your wrath, O Good One: for the whole earth glorifies You. And we pray: have mercy on us, Holy One.

Glory, and now: and we repeat the same.

Troparion of prophecy, tone 7: Lord, You are Good; people who have committed sin, do not reprove us in Your indignation and do not punish us in Your anger: for the whole earth glorifies You, and we pray to have mercy on us, Holy One!

Glory, even now: and we repeat the same troparion.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 61), tone 6: In God is my salvation/ and my glory.

Verse: Does not my soul obey God? From Him is my salvation.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 61), tone 6: In God is my salvation and my glory.

Verse: Shall not my soul submit to God? For with Him is my salvation.

Reading the prophecies of Isaiah. [Isa.14:24–32]

Thus saith the Lord of hosts: As with words, so shall it be, and as with counsels, so shall it abide: He shall destroy the Assyrians in My land, and on My mountains: and they shall be trampled, and will be taken from them by their yoke, and their glory will be taken from their shoulders. This council, the counsel of the Lord, is for the whole world, and this hand is for all the languages of the world. For God the Holy One holds a council, who will ruin it? and who can turn away His high hand? In the summer, before Ahaz the king died, this verb came: Do not rejoice, all you foreigners, for you are crushed by the yoke of the smiting yoke: from the seed of the serpent will come fiends asps, and their offspring will come out, flying serpents. And they will suffer their misery: the poor of men will rest in peace: and they will consume your seed with hunger, and will slaughter your remains. Let the gates of the cities cry, let the cities of confusion, all the foreigners, cry out: behind the smoke comes from the north, and none that abide. And what does the king of the nations say, that the Lord is the foundation of Zion, and by this the humble people of His people will be saved.

Reading the prophecy of Isaiah [14:24–32]

Thus says the Lord of hosts: “As I have said, so it will be, and as I have determined, so it will happen, to destroy the Assyrians in My land and on My mountains, and they will be trampled underfoot; and their yoke will be taken away from them, and their shame will be taken away from their shoulders. This is the decision that the Lord has made for the entire universe, and this raised hand is for all the nations of the universe. For what the Holy God has established, who can abolish it? And who will take away His high hand? In the year of the death of King Ahaz there was a word like this: “Do not rejoice, all you foreigners, because the yoke of him who beat you has been broken; for from the seed of the serpent will come the children of the asps, and their descendants will become flying serpents. And the Lord will shepherd the poor, and poor people will rest in peace; and he will destroy your seed with famine, and he will destroy your remnant. Howl, you gates of cities, howl, you shaken cities, all you foreigners: for smoke comes from the north, and no one can stand, and what will the kings of the nations answer? That the Lord has established Zion, and that through it the humble of His people will be saved.”

Prokeimenon (Psalm 62), tone 4: Thus I will bless You/ in my belly.

Verse: O God, my God, my soul thirsts for You in the morning.

Prokeimenon (Psalm 62), tone 4: How much will I bless You in my life!

Verse: O God, my God, I have been turning to You since dawn: my soul has thirsted for You!
