1. Lord, I am a sinner and unworthy of Your mercy, but You, by Your only mercy, save me.
2. Lord, You sought me first and gave me the enjoyment of Your Holy Spirit, and my soul loved You. You see, Lord, my sadness and tears... If You had not attracted me with Your love, then I would not have sought You as I seek, but Your Spirit has made me know You, and my soul rejoices that You are my God and Lord, and I miss You to the point of tears. Merciful Lord, You see my fall and my sorrow, but I humbly ask Your mercy: pour out the grace of Your Holy Spirit on me, a sinner. The memory of her draws my mind to find Your mercy again. Lord, give me Your humble Spirit, so that I will not again lose Your grace and not begin to weep for it, as Adam wept for paradise and God.
