Good Lover of Mankind, Most Merciful Lord, who bore our ailments and healed us with Your wounds! Before Your Majesty, we slavishly fall down and humbly pray: look, O Compassionate One, upon Your servants, and just as in ancient times You healed the weakened man who had been lying sick for thirty-eight years, and so now, O Good Healer, visit Your servants with Your mercy and bounties. You said to the weakened people of old: Arise, take up your bed and walk.

Likewise, we, sinners and unworthy Thy servants, relying on Thy Divine words, humbly falling before Thy Majesty, touchingly ask Thy Divine mercy and ineffable love for mankind: open to us the doors of Thy mercy and forgive all our sins, voluntary and involuntary, in the image of Thy goodness we have angered and Your love for mankind has irritated us: heal our sinful illness: transform our mental and physical illnesses into health, transform our infirmities into strength, transform our sorrows into joy and sorrows into consolation: take away from us all despondency and oblivion: strengthen our minds and keep our goals, so that we can always learn from Your commandments: correct all our troubles, Do Your good and perfect will. For You are the Good Healer, upliftment of the weak, physician to the sick, healing to the sick, guardian of health to the healthy, and we send glory to You, with Your Beginning Father, and Your Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages.
