We thank Thee, our Lord God, for Thine is the hedgehog of immortal life, and the glory is incomprehensible, and love for mankind is ineffable, and the Kingdom is unfailing, and You have no hypocrisy: for You have set a limit to the common life of all mankind, and life will be fulfilled. We also ask You, O Lord: to give Your servant and fellow servant our former name, in the hope of the resurrection of the eternal life of the departed, rest in the bosom of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob: just as You have placed that servant on earth in the Church, so also in Your heavenly altar, O Lord, show that You have adorned all spiritual people with this dignity, and in accept the angelic glory that is not condemned: You yourself glorified life on earth, and you Himself established the outcome of his life in the entrance of Your righteous saints: his spirit is numbered with all those who have pleased You from all eternity. For You are the resurrection and the life and rest of Your departed servant named, Christ our God, and we send up glory to You, with Your Beginning Father, and Your Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
