To Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, with great reverence I fall down and pray: Remember me, O King, because without cease I sin against Thee and Thy Son, and many times I confess, lying before Thee in penitence, trembling: Will not the Lord smite me, and again at the appointed time bear heavily upon me. Knowing this, my Lady Theotokos, my Master, pray Thou that He may forgive me, strengthen me, and work good for me. For, O my Master Theotokos, although I have in hatred the deeds of my soul, and with all my mind love the Law of Thy Son: yet I do not know, O Most Pure, whence I hate, but also love, and thus sin. Do not allow, O Most Pure, my will to accomplish these things, for it is not good: but may Thy will and the will of Thy Son be done: that Thou mayst save me, enlighten me, and give me good. For behold, all glory, honor, and power belong to Thee, with Thine eternal and co-eternal Word and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
