O Holy Study of Peter,

To Thee, O Most Pure Mother of God, with deep humility I fall down and pray: Lord, King, because continually I sin against Thee and against Thy Son, Jesus Christ, and many times I confess, lying before Thee in sorrow, and confessing trembling: will Thou indeed smite me, and again at the appointed time oppress me. Knowing this, O my Lady Theotokos, my Master, I pray Thee, to have mercy on me, to strengthen me, and to grant good works to do for me. For, O my Master Theotokos, although I hate with all my soul the deeds of sin, and love with all my mind the Law of Thy Son: yet I know not, O Most Pure Mother, from whence I am hated, that I may also love, but thus I sin. Do not permit, O Most Pure Mother, by my will to be accomplished, for it is not meet: but let Thy will and the will of Thy Son be done: that Thou mayest save me, enlighten me, and grant good gifts for me, so that henceforth I may cease from all evil deeds, and live henceforth in obedience to Thee, which is meet for every glory, honor and power, with Thine eternal Father and Thy Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
