Before the Word of God was born of the Ever-Virgin, having been made flesh from the Virgin's womb, come let us prostrate ourselves: for having endured, He was delivered up to death by burial, as He Himself willed; and He rose again from the dead, saving me, a wanderer in sin.

Jesus Christ hath saved us, whom having nailed to the cross by his own hands for our salvation, he did put to naught the power of death: we bow down before him in his three-day resurrection.

From the Archangel we receive the hymn of the Resurrection of Christ: for by Him is our soul saved, and in His glory more terrible and powerful strength cometh again to judge the world, which He created.

Glory, and praise, O Theotokos, dogmatic voice, third tone:

Blessed be the mysteries! I have seen wonders, I preach salvation; for Emmanuel is the gate of death overcome by His love for man, but the key of virginity He did not break, for God: but thus from the womb He went forth, as though heard with the ear: so was incarnate, as though conceived: without passion He entered, unspeakably and came forth; according to the prophecy spoken: "These gates shall be shut": none shall go through them, except One, the Lord Jesus Christ, who holds the key of prayer.

Thou, O Jesus Christ, hast risen from the dead, enlightening all the world and calling thy creation: O all-powerful Glory of the Lord.

All ye who sorrow, joy; and thou, O Protectress of the afflicted, and thou, O Nourisher of the poor, to the strangers give comfort, and to the blind and weak visitation, and to those striving for the covering and intercessor, and to the needy help, O Theotokos, from thy lofty right hand, thou art most merciful: strive, we pray thee, to save thy servants.

Every unrighteous deed, every sin, not having been endured with patience, I have committed: I am worthy of every condemnation! O Lord, grant me repentance, for lest I be condemned there, I will write my prayer to the intercessor Theotokos, and call upon her, that thou mayest not disgrace me, O faithful herald.

And now, coming to the sanctuary, we who have no strength nor Master: do not let Thy warmth of intercession shame those who come under Thy roof, O God of our father Abraham: strive thou, and give us Thy help, and save us from this present anger.

Glory, and praise now to Theotokos, voice 3:

Whoever shall praise thee and bless thee according to thy dignity, O youthful evangelist, who by thee was brought about the salvation of the world: we call thee with joy, saying: Rejoice, thou that hast saved Adam by thy sanctification, and hast separated the joined together. Rejoice, thou that hast enlightened our race with the light of thy resurrection from thy tomb and from God our Father: for the race of the Hymnographers continually blesseth thee with praise.
