For thou art life, and they that are in thee are alive.
Therefore, with compunction of heart we cry to Thee:

If thou hast descended into the lower parts of the earth, O Immortal, yet didst thou destroy the power of hell with thy might, and didst rise again as Victor, O Jesus Christ, having foretold it to the myrrh-bearing women: Rejoice, and by thy Apostles give peace, and to them that fall uprise the Resurrection.
