By the Life-giving Hand,
Who having died from dark sorrows,
Life-bearer did raise all Jesus Christ,
Raising to life the human race:
For He is the Saviour of all,

At every hour, and in every moment, on high and on earth, we bow down before Thee, O Christ, and glorify Thee, long-suffering, full of mercy, full of compassion, righteous toward the loving, merciful to the sinful, who calleth all to salvation for the promise thereof: Thou, our Lord, hear now our prayer in this hour, and make our life according to Thy commandments, sanctify our soul, cleanse our body, rectify our thoughts, purify our mind, and deliver us from every tribulation and sickness. Protect us by Thy holy angels, that through their intercession we may be kept and instructed, and attain unto the unity of faith, and into the depth of Thy ineffable glory: Blessed art Thou for ever and ever, Amen.

Lord, and Thou the Source of strength, and all things co-operate with Thee, and by Thine ineffable prayers, O God, of Thy Only-Begotten Son Jesus Christ, Who is our God, having sent Him down for the salvation of our race, and having sealed Him with the Holy Scriptures, whereby He has rent asunder the wounds of our sins, and having overcome thereby the powers of darkness: Thou, O Master, receive our prayers and supplications, and deliver us from every evil, visible and invisible, and all those who seek Thee, both seen and unseen. Imprint upon our flesh the fear of Thee, and do not incline our hearts to the words or thoughts of wickedness; but by Thy love enlighten our souls, that ever gazing upon Thee, and being instructed by Thee with the light of Thy glory, we offer Thee unceasingly our confession and thanksgiving, without beginning, with Thine Only-Begotten Son and God, and all ye holy ones, and Life-Giving Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages.
