Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; let not your thoughts run wild to do evil.

For evil-doers shall be destroyed; but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the earth.

‹. For a little while yet, and the sinner shall not be; and though thou seek his place, thou shalt find it not.

But the meek shall inherit the earth and shall find their fullness in the abundance of peace.

Alas, the sinner watches the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him:

The Lord shall laugh at him, for He seeth that his day is coming.

The wicked have drawn swords, and have cocked their bows, to overthrow the poor and needy, and to slay those who walk uprightly.

Their swords shall pierce their own hearts, and their bows shall be broken.

A little belonging to the righteous is better than the wealth of many wicked.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholdeth the righteous.

The Lord knoweth the ways of the upright, and their inheritance shall endure for ever.

They shall not be ashamed in a time of adversity; in days of famine, they shall be satisfied.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall vanish like smoke when consumed.

Alas, the sinner borroweth and will not repay: but the righteous giveth liberally and lendeth.

For those blessing Him shall inherit the earth; whereas those cursing Him shall be cut off.

The steps of a good man are directed by the Lord, and in his way he takes delight.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly broken; for the Lord upholdeth him by his hand.

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread.

He is merciful all the day long, and lendeth; and his seed shall be in blessing.

Depart from evil and do good, that you may dwell forevermore.

For the Lord loveth justice, and will not forsake his saints; they shall be preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell therein for ages of ages.

The mouth of the righteous meditates on wisdom, and his tongue proclaims judgment.

The law of His God is in his heart, and none of his steps shall stumble.

The sinner observeth the just man and seeketh to destroy him.

The Lord will not abandon him into his hands; neither will he condemn him when he is judged.

Wait on the Lord, and keep His way; and He shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

I have seen the wicked exalted high, like the cedars of Lebanon.

And he went on, and behold, there was none; I sought him diligently, but the place where he was could not be found.

Mark the spotless one, and see the upright; for such a man's end is peace.

But the lawless shall perish together; the end of the ungodly shall be cut off.

But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their strength in the time of distress.

And the Lord will help them and deliver them, and rescue them from evil doers, and preserve them, for they have trusted in Him.
