For Thy holy Books, O Lord,
And for the Holy Men's feasts,
Three months of September, October, and November:
On them we call, O Lord.

Thou art our Life, O Lord,
Our life in Thee is ever.
Grant us to see Thee, O Lord,
And to know Thee, our God.

Through all, O Lord, Thy grace,
By Thine own Spirit's might.
In compunction of heart,
We pray Thee, hear our voice.

Thy mercy, O Lord, we seek,
And Thy righteousness, O King.
Grant us to see Thee, O Lord,
Our God, and know Thy face.

O Soul, O Spirit, O Life,
Pray for us, O Jesus Christ!
That in Thy kingdom's peace
We may find rest from sin.

Thy grace, O Lord, we ask,
And Thy mercy, O our King.
Grant us to see Thee, O Lord,
Our God, and know Thy face.

O Comforter, Thou Spirit,
Pray for us, O Jesus Christ!
That in Thy kingdom's peace
We may find rest from sin.

Thy grace, O Lord, we ask,
And Thy mercy, O our King.
Grant us to see Thee, O Lord,
Our God, and know Thy face.
