Thou hast corrected the mind of thy movements, God-wise, to the glory of Spasov, and the fullness of divine wisdom has appeared to Simeon, by the Holy Spirit, awakening to repentance with love those who cry:

Rejoice, pillar of abstinence;

Rejoice, image of patience.

Rejoice, wise writer of secrecy;

Rejoice, destroyer of the most severe petrification.

Rejoice, honey-flowing lips, dripping divine sweetness;

Rejoice, God-watered cloud, shedding the dew of life.

Rejoice, for you have shown apostolic grace;

Rejoice, for you are shining with a saving radiance.

Rejoice, all-bright luminary of grace;

Rejoice, never-setting star of the Best.

Rejoice, source of life-giving waters;

Rejoice, luminary of God-inspired verbs.

Rejoice, like Simeon, the light of the Divine Mystery.
