By the Comforter Light of your wise writings, grace, Nicodemus, shines everywhere and breathes a mysterious fragrance into the souls, through which we get rid of the stench of passions, crying out:
Rejoice, flower of paradise;
Rejoice, reed of the Comforter.
Rejoice, world-maker of divine goodness;
Rejoice, the fragrance of life is pure.
Rejoice, all-fragrant world of ascetic life;
Rejoice, heavenly aroma of the spiritual dwelling.
Rejoice, secret writer of holy dogmas;
Rejoice, more eloquent than sacred meanings.
Rejoice, louder than the songs of grace;
Rejoice, numbered among the saints.
Rejoice, soul of confirmation of those who waver;
Rejoice, wise teacher of monks.
Rejoice, Father Nicodemus, Holy Mountains, glorious decoration.
