Прича́щшисѧ є҆́ѵа садꙋ̀, преслꙋша́ннагѡ бра́шна, клѧ́твꙋ введѐ: / но сїю̀ разрѣ́шила є҆сѝ чⷭ҇таѧ, / бл҃гослове́нїѧ нача́токъ хрⷭ҇та̀ ро́ждши.
Partaking of the Saviour's passion, hearing the prophecy, and being led into temptation: /
but this Thou didst permit, Blessed Reader, beginning the reading of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Ꙗ҆́же би́сера ѿ бж҃е́ственныѧ мо́лнїи хрⷭ҇та̀ ро́ждши, / страсте́й мои́хъ мглꙋ̀, и҆ прегрѣше́нїй смꙋще́нїе чⷭ҇таѧ, / разженѝ свѣ́томъ твоеѧ̀ свѣ́тлости.
Since the first thunderbolt of the divine lightning from God hath given birth to me,
my passions being darkened and overcome by a greater heat,
I have been kindled with the light of thy brightness.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ.
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
Ꙗ҆зы́кѡвъ ча́ѧнїе, і҆а́кѡвъ и҆з̾ тебѐ воплоща́емаго / предзрѧ́ше та́йнѡ ѹ҆́мныма ѻ҆чи́ма бг҃а, / и҆зба́вльшаго на́съ хода́тайствомъ твои́мъ.
Prayer for the Languages, as Jacob beheld the Fulfilled One / foresaw the mystery with his holy eyes, / who delivered us through thy intercessions.
И҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. а҆ми́нь.
And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Ѡ҆скꙋдѣ́вшымъ кнѧзє́мъ ѿ колѣ́на і҆ꙋ́дова пречⷭ҇таѧ, / сн҃ъ тво́й и҆ бг҃ъ, / проше́дъ во́ждь, над̾ концы̀ земны́ми / ны́нѣ вои́стиннꙋ воцр҃и́сѧ.
O those who have humbled themselves before the King of the Judaic tribe, thy God, / thou hast heard their prayer, / having gone forth as a leader, over the ends of the earth, / now art Thou truly exalted.
Катава́сїа: Ѿве́рзꙋ ѹ҆ста̀ моѧ̑, / и҆ напо́лнѧтсѧ д¦а, / и҆ сло́во ѿры́гнꙋ цр҃и́цѣ мт҃ри, / и҆ ꙗ҆влю́сѧ свѣ́тлѡ торжествꙋ́ѧ, / и҆ воспою̀ ра́дꙋѧсѧ тоѧ̀ чꙋдеса̀.
Overthrewest Thou my staff, /
and filledst it with power, /
and the word of Thy commandment blazed forth from My mouth, /
and the light of the triumph shone forth, /
and I will sing rejoicing over these wonders.
