Прича́щшисѧ є҆́ѵа садꙋ̀, преслꙋша́ннагѡ бра́шна, клѧ́твꙋ введѐ: / но сїю̀ разрѣ́шила є҆сѝ чⷭ҇таѧ, / бл҃гослове́нїѧ нача́токъ хрⷭ҇та̀ ро́ждши.
Partaking of the Saviour's sufferings, listening to the bread of affliction, I have invoked a curse:
But this Thou didst permit, O Reader,
Blessed were the beginnings of Thy birth.

Refrain: Having lifted up the Theotokos, save us.
Ꙗ҆́же би́сера ѿ бж҃е́ственныѧ мо́лнїи хрⷭ҇та̀ ро́ждши, / страсте́й мои́хъ мглꙋ̀, и҆ прегрѣше́нїй смꙋще́нїе чⷭ҇таѧ, / разженѝ свѣ́томъ твоеѧ̀ свѣ́тлости.
Since the thunderbolt of God's lightning hath brought forth the precious pearl of Theotokos,
my sorrows and darkness have been overcome by its purifying power,
and it hath kindled in me the light of thy glorious brightness.
Сла́ва ѻ҆ц҃ꙋ̀ и҆ сн҃ꙋ и҆ ст҃о́мꙋ д¦ꙋ.
Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Ꙗ҆зы́кѡвъ ча́ѧнїе, і҆а́кѡвъ и҆з̾ тебѐ воплоща́емаго / предзрѧ́ше та́йнѡ ѹ҆́мныма ѻ҆чи́ма бг҃а, / и҆зба́вльшаго на́съ хода́тайствомъ твои́мъ.
Prayer for the Languages, as Jacob beheld the Fulfilled One / foreseen with his holy eyes the mystery of Thy Spirit, / and by thy intercessions delivered us.
И҆ ны́нѣ и҆ при́снѡ и҆ во вѣ́ки вѣкѡ́въ. а҆ми́нь.
And now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Ѡ҆скꙋдѣ́вшымъ кнѧзє́мъ ѿ колѣ́на і҆ꙋ́дова пречⷭ҇таѧ, / сн҃ъ тво́й и҆ бг҃ъ, / проше́дъ во́ждь, над̾ концы̀ земны́ми / ны́нѣ вои́стиннꙋ воцр҃и́сѧ.
O those who cried to the King from the knee of Juda,
thou thy God,
having gone before as Leader, over all the ends of the earth,
now indeed art manifested in truth.
Катава́сїа: Ѿве́рзꙋ ѹ҆ста̀ моѧ̑, / и҆ напо́лнѧтсѧ д¦а, / и҆ сло́во ѿры́гнꙋ цр҃и́цѣ мт҃ри, / и҆ ꙗ҆влю́сѧ свѣ́тлѡ торжествꙋ́ѧ, / и҆ воспою̀ ра́дꙋѧсѧ тоѧ̀ чꙋдеса̀.
Overture: Bow down thine ear to me, /
And let it be filled with might, /
And the word of thy fiery commandment shall enter into my heart, /
And there shall shine forth a light of triumph, /
And I will sing rejoicing at these wonders.
