Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death destroyed;
For our death was not like theirs,
Nor our life like theirs.
For they that die in sin,
Die unto sin;
But we, having died to sin,
Live unto righteousness.

Through the intercessions of Thy holy servants, O Lord.

The bottomless pit of sins hath overthrown me, and my spirit is vanished away: but stretch Thou forth Thy high exalted arm, as a rock to uphold me and save me.

The bottomless depth of thy mercies hath encompassed me, O God, by the blessed dream of thy goodness: for thou hast been incarnate, and having been in servitude as a man's likeness, didst sanctify me, glorifying thyself with me.

Death, O Death, wherein thou hast been slain; though thou hast been slain, O Death, thou hast the victory: thy conquest of the Resurrection of Christ is but a semblance. Thy images are the likenesses of those who have seen the living One in death: they are the signs of Thy defeat, O Death.

O Theotokos,

Praying, where Thou alone, Creator and Man, hast come forth more gloriously than the dawn, receive Thy suppliants, who have fallen into transgression, and be our advocate.

And He

Irimos: Selēninya.

By dawn thou hast tried us, O Incarnate One from the heavens, by thy stripes we were healed. Therefore, to Thee we cry: Lift up my soul, O Lover of Mankind.

Thou hast opened unto Thee the gates of hell with fear; the vessels of thy enemies doth Thou exalt: wherefore those women met Thee, receiving joy instead of sorrow.

And He said:

This hymn of the same.

It is thought concerning Him who, being unchangeable in His divine nature, yet for our sake took on a mortal body, and by an inseparable image became like us, did not yield to the deceit of the flesh.

O Lord, and Thou Sea of Sins, and Storms of Passions, save me: for Thou art the Refuge, and Bottomless Pit of Wonders, to those who come to Thee with Faith.
