Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death we perish:
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death Thou didst take upon Thee.

Through Thy death, O Master,
The gates of Hades were shattered;
And the powers of the netherworld
Were made a spectacle for all.

Thou didst descend into the realm of the dead,
O Christ God,
And in Thy might didst break the bonds of Hades,
Granting life to those who had perished.

For Thou art the Life, O Lord,
And by Thee we are saved:
For Thou didst suffer death for our salvation,
That we might live with Thee forever.

To Thee, O Creator of all, Lord Almighty of the worlds, in Whom is the light commanded by Thy will: in them guide me.

Judge not unrighteously, O Jew by envy given over, all-seeing God, and with all righteousness judging the earth, Thou didst deliver ancient Adam from condemnation.

Thy peace, O Church of Thy Christ, by the invincible power of Thy might, raise up from the dead and save our souls.

O Theotokos,

Cleni stáyi, i prostránněji nbsýs, gáné akó iež vásyj tvári nevměstímagoglova bžiji prjiešchi, édina gánoviľasë esì prisndvá.

Irmos: Invisible hath Thou wove Thyself upon the earth.

Copyest in the rib Thee, O Jesus Christ, having been pierced, from the rib created of man, the harmer of all men by thy going forth, thou hast freed the curse.

Equal art Thou to the Father in essence, and Thy holy temple preexisted with Thee and all-creating of the bodily nature, and Thou didst raise from the dead our Saviour Jesus Christ.

This hymn of that same one.

The Word of God hath spoken to thee, cooperator Adam, uncreated, yet He also took upon Himself flesh from Thee and was created.

Equal art Thou with the Father, Word of God, perfect in two natures, O Jesus Christ, Lord, and man.
