Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life, and we are in Thine hand; Thou hast created us, and we are ever Thine. Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!
To Thee, O Creator of all, Thou Who art mightier than all the powers of the world, since by Thy command the light was created: in them guide me.
Judge not unrighteously, O Jew, by envy being delivered up to all-seeing God, and having judged with righteous judgment all the earth, Adam ancient didst save from condemnation.
Thy peace, O Church of Thy Christ, by the invincible power of Thine own might, raise up from the dead and save our souls.
O Theotokos,
Covering the Lord's head, and spreading abroad Thy mercy,
forasmuch as Thou hast received within all creation unutterable speech,
alone didst Thou manifest Thine everlasting power.
And He
Irmos: Invisible hath woven itself upon the earth.
Thou hast pierced My side, O Lord my King, having been wounded and piercing the created human rib, through which death came to all men, Thou didst set free the bondages of all.
Equal art Thou with the Father in essence, O Holy Temple of Thy Most Pure House and all-tempered Body, Who didst raise from the dead our Saviour Jesus Christ.
And Thee.
This hymn of the same.
The Word of God hath spoken to thee, cooperator Adam, created anew, not made, yet even flesh enlivened by Thee He did create.
Equal art Thou with Thy Father, O Word of God, perfect in two essences, Jesus Christ, Lord, and man.
