Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Pray for us, O Lord, and for all men Thou art the Intercessor: by Thee, Master, in the presence of Thy holy Council, from the unknown night, hast Thou brought them to judgment.

As the cedars are glorified,
So hath the shaking of thy tongue destroyed them by thy will:
For thou wouldest exalt us on the cedar, on the pine, and on the cypress.

In the grave, O Lord, Thou hast laid the lifeless dead: but by Thy Name Thou hast awakened the dead, who sleep in their graves, and didst raise them with Thee.

O Theotokos,

Pray to Thee, O Lord, and to Thy Holy One, O Dwellers in Heaven, for those who seek peace, grant them peace, for the captives deliverance, from the stubborn resistances.

Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (живот) from all eternity; Thou art the light that enlighteneth every man (тварь) coming into the world. In Thy light we see light (свет), and in Thy image we are created. Thou hast made us for Thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in Thee.

Adam hath perceived the fall, tasting the deadly fruit first: but the sin consumeth, causing the second death.

By the nature of man he was passions-bearing and mortal, but by the ineffable divine glory, O Unquenchable, O Deathless Theotokos, He raised Him from the depths of hell.

And Thee, O Lord.

Airmos toye.

Bless ye with the sweetness of your lips those who dwell upon the earth: for the Son of God hath descended from heaven and was incarnate before the ages.

By life and flesh of mine, light hast Thou enlightened, and the bitterness of sin hast Thou broken: in the end from without seed didst Thou beget the High One.
