Pray for us, O Lord, and for all believers; Thou hast been a Man: by Thee, Master, to the Prince of Thy holy Church, in the night unknown, didst bring the deliverance of them.
As the cedars are glorified,
so hath the wind of Thy will shattered the proud.
For Thou didst will it on the cypress and on the pine and on the cedar,
that in planks they might be exalted.
In the grave, O Lord, Thou hast laid the lifeless dead: but by Thy Name Thou hast awakened the dead, who sleep in their graves, and raised them with Thee.
The Theotokos:
Pray to Thee, O Lord, and to Thy Holy One, O Dwellers in Heaven, for those who hope in Thee, the peace Thou hast given, the deliverance of the captives, from the obstinate resistances.

And He
Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!
Adam hath tasted the deadly fruit first, but by sin is consumed, the second.
By the nature of man he was passions-bearing and mortal, but He who is without passions by the ineffable divine glory, O Death, where is thy sting? O Hades, where is thy victory? Thee hath the Unseen Life, O Lord Jesus Christ, God, in the midst of the hypocrites, having risen from the dead by Thy will.
And Thee.
This hymn to Thee also.
Bless with the sweetness of your joy and pour out your gladness upon all the earth: For as a child hath given, even He who was before the ages, became incarnate of the Virgin.
By life and by my flesh Thou hast enlightened me, and Thou hast broken the hardness of sin: in the end Thou wast incarnate from without seed, O Thou of heaven.
