Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are glorified;
For Thou art our Life, O Lord,
And by Thee we are made alive.

Through life and the Resurrection,
We have been delivered from death;
For Thou hast conquered, O Christ,
And hast given us life from the dead.

Thou art our Life, O Lord,
Our Life in Thy Resurrection;
By Thee we are saved from death,
O Lover of Mankind.

Blossomed hath the wilderness, as a spring, where erstwhile, O spiritually barren church, by thy advent, my heart is established within it.

By Thy own hand didst Thou fashion me after the image: and again smitten in the breast for sin, Thou didst descend into hell, and didst raise up again.

O Theotokos,

Marvel at the angelic assembly in their awe, and fear human hearts by thy judgment: therefore do we with faith honor thee.

And the canon of the Cross-Risen.

Virmós:

Life is not a delusion, O Soul, but a gift of God; let us not live in vain, but with compunction and true faith. For by always trusting in the Lord, we shall find His mercy and righteousness. Let us therefore seek the glory of God and not be content with temporal vanities. For He is our Creator and Sustainer, and in Him alone doth our salvation lie.

Luke hath overcome the strong with thy mighty Theotokos, and hast strengthened them that were weak.

Who of all the Highest, Thou Jesus Christ, wast made small by a bodily form, O Angelic in nature.

Dead with the unrighteous didst Thou entwine, O Lord, adorning women with the crown of glory; Thou hast despised the resurrection.

And in the midst of the throne was the Lord.

Which time surpasseth all times, because by time the Creator was created thee twice of thine own will.

The most vastest belly of the earthly we receive, by which man rejoiceth on the earth liveth.
