Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! Glory to Thy Kingdom, glory to Thy Power, glory to Thy Wisdom, glory to Thy Strength, glory to Thy Riches, glory to Thy Honour, glory to Thee who quickenest the dead by Thy Will. Amen.
Blossomed hath the wilderness, as a spring, where erstwhile, by reason of its barrenness and desolation, the Church, thy people, was not fruitful; by thy advent therein, my heart is established.
By Thy own hand didst Thou fashion me after the image: and again smitten in the breast by death for sin, Thou didst descend into hell, and didst raise up again.
O Theotokos,
Marvel thou in the angelic mystery, and fear human heart at thy judgment: wherefore we worship thee with faith.
And the canon of the Cross-resurrection.
O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
unto Thee do we pour out our petitions,
for Thou art the Life, and without Thee there is no life.
Through Thee we are saved from sudden perils;
by Thy power we overcome all adversaries.
Thou art our Guide and our Defender,
and in Thee we find rest and peace.
For Thou art the Delight of our hearts,
and by Thine unsearchable mercy
we are delivered from spiritual delusion.
Therefore, with humility of heart we beseech Thee:
unto Thee do we cry, O Lord our God,
have mercy upon us and save us.
Luke hath smitten the strong in their might with thy power, O Christ, and hast weakened them by thy strength.
Who of all the Highest, Jesus Christ, hath humbled Himself to be made a little thing by a bodily form, an angelic nature.
Dead with the unrighteous didst Thou entwine, O Lord, adorning these women with the crown of glory; Thou hast despisedst from the resurrection.
And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.
Airmós toíze.
Which time surpasseth all times, because by the power of Timeless Creator, Thou didst create us two by Thine own Will.
O Soul most spacious, O Heaven we receive, by which Adam rejoicing on earth liveth.
