Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are redeemed;
For by death hath He destroyed death,
And to those who love Him, Life hath He given.
Therefore with understanding and compunction of heart,
We cry aloud to Thee, O Lord:
Thou art the true Life, Who hast enlightened the world;
Thou art the Good Shepherd, Who feedeth Thy sheep.
For Thou didst descend into Hades,
And didst take captivity captive,
And didst make a straight way for them that were bound.
Therefore we pray Thee, O Lord:
Grant us to see Thy mercy and Thy goodness,
That with pure hearts and minds we may worship Thee
And glorify Thee in the heavens above.
Blossomed hath the wilderness, as a spring, where erstwhile, by reason of its barrenness and desolation, the Church, thy people, was not fruitful; by thy advent therein, my heart hath been established.
Thy creation in Thy image doth change, beholding Thee in the lowly mirror of those ungodly, who have been corrupted by the vain motion of worldly lusts.
By Thy own hand didst Thou fashion me after the image: and again smitten in the breast for sin, Thou didst descend into hell, and didst raise up again.
O Theotokos,
Wondrous are ye, O angels, in the glory of your countenances; and we, O human hearts, are struck with fear at thy righteous judgment: wherefore we worship thee with faith.
And the canon of the Cross-resurrection.
Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (живот) from all eternity; Thou art the Light of our incorruptible (непре́рыва́ема) life. Through Thee we are enlightened by Thy divine (божественна) light and we glorify Thee in every place, for Thou art the Life (жизнь) eternal. Amen.
Luke hath smitten the strong in their power by Thy might, O Theotokos, and hast strengthened them that were无力者。
Who of all the Highest Theotokos humbled Thyself with a small thing, by a bodily travail, O Angels' Nature.
Dead with the unrighteous dost thou partake, crowned with a wreath of glory by Thee, hast Thou been made alive from the dead.
And in the temple of the Lord, the Theotokos stood.

Which time surpasseth all times, for by the Timeless Creator, Thou hast been created by Thy Will two-fold.
O most spacious belly of the heavenly, in which Adam rejoiceth on high, liveth.
