In the Lord's Day at Matins

By the sticheron of the sedalitai, the Gloria in excelsis is sung, and the tone is the third.

Blessed Joseph, having taken from the tree thy holy body, by thyself wrapping it in a clean shroud, and covering it with blessings in the grave, thou didst lie for three days, but on the third day thou didst rise again, giving to the world great mercy.

And now, O Theotokos:

Blessed be Thee, O Theotokos, singing: By Thy precious Incarnation, Thou didst trample down death by death, and upon them that were dead to life didst raise us up, granting us eternal life: we have entered into Paradise, the ancient enjoyment. Therefore, thanking Thee, we glorify Thee as the mighty power of our God and His Only Begotten.

According to the sedalny stichoslovi, the third tone.

Not to permit the sepulchral stone to be sealed, Thou didst give to all, O Lord, a stone of faith risen, and to Thee be glory.
Ouchnkòv tvoikh líkъ sъ mýronośicâmi ženámi rádŭetsey soglásnò: ū́bščí bo prázdnikъ sъ ními prázdnyemъ, vъ slávu í češčt’ tvoégò̀ voskrěsénija. í tě́my voptyéymъ tì, člŭvěkolúbče gđi: lúdemъ tvoj́imъ podaď’ véllǐju mlýti.

And now, O Theotokos:

Blessed art Thou, O Theotokos, double-blessed, having become incarnate by Thyself and delivered man from the bonds of death, Adam was restored, the curse was abolished, Eve was set free, death was destroyed, and we have waited for it. Therefore, singing with joy we cry: Blessed is Jesus Christ, the Willing One; glory to Thee.

By those undefiled lips, voice, al.

Walking forth to the tomb of the woman, in which Thou wast anointed, O Christ, they saw angels within the tomb, and were amazed: for they heard a voice from them, as though Thou hadst risen, granting great mercy.

Stepénnaya. Ántiphón:

In heaven, O Soul, open the gate of my heart, to Thee I cry, save me by Thy holy consecration.

Merciful Lord, forgive us sinners at many times, in every hour, by Thy Name, and grant that the image may be seen before the end by Thee.

Glory, and now:

O Soul/Spirit of God, worthy to reign, sanctify, and strive the creation: for God is One in essence and in word.

Antiphon v.:

А҆́ще не гдⷭ҇ь бы бы́лъ въ на́съ, кто̀ дово́ленъ цѣ́лъ сохране́нъ бы́ти ѿ врага̀, кꙋ́пнѡ и҆ человѣкоꙋбі́йцы;
If the Lord had not been in us, who would have been sufficient to be whole and preserved from the enemy, the murderer of men.

By thy teeth may not thy servant be delivered to lions: for in the likeness of lions they travail me around.

Glory, and now:

To the Lord the Spirit and glory: for all things are created, because God by His power keepeth them in the Kingdom, with His Word.

Antiphon gá:

Trusteth in the Lord, and shall be made like a mountain of holiness: even as they that are moved thereof by strangers.

In the unrighteousness of my own hands let not the God-blessed live: for God Christ doth not abandon His own rod upon the lot.

Glory, and now:

By the Spirit is wrought every wisdom: by all mercy the apostles, and by sufferings the martyrs are crowned, and the prophets behold.
