By the psalmody of the penitent, the Lord was raised on the third day, the voice being:
Samopodoben:
Thy grave, O Warrior watchful, O dead ones by the overshadowing of the greater Angel were kept, proclaiming to the women the Resurrection. We glorify Thee, O Thou who wast sought for, we fall down before Thee, risen from the grave, and unto Thy only God.

To the Crucifixion thou wast fastened by a generous will, laid in the grave having been found dead, O Life-giving One; thou didst rend asunder with thy mighty death-struggle the bonds of death by thine own death: for the gates of hell trembled at thee, thou having been raised from the age of the dead, O Only Lover of mankind.

O Theotokos,

Mother of Thee, our God, truly and by Thy holy Incarnation, when Thou didst abide with great humility, and whosoever loveth and fleeth to Thy mercy: for Thou art our Intercessor, O most merciful; in perils I have waited upon Thee for deliverance, alone pure of all sin.

By the sticheral verses, let us sing, O Lord, Thy gladsome hymn, a third tone.

Likewise: Stones Sealed:

Widows to the grave came weeping, and with angelic joy they beheld trembling: the grave is life, a wonder marveling: for having gone forth by the teaching of the preachers there arose: hell has delivered Jesus Christ, for alone strong and mighty, and having been weakened all were raised, casting fear in pieces with His might.

At thy crucifixion, O Life of all life, thou wast fastened, and in the dead thou didst enter as the Immortal Lord; on the third day thou didst rise for our salvation, raising Adam from corruption. For this sake we cry to thee with mighty voice, O Giver of Life, Jesus Christ: Glory to thy resurrection, glory to thy descent, only Lover of mankind.

Theotokos. It is fitting: Thy grave hath saved us.

Blessed be the Reader, O Master of Readers, who hath raised up unto life them that had fallen into the deep pit of fierce wrath, and by sorrows and griefs. For thou art, O Lord, the salvation of sinners and help in time of trouble, and strong intercession; and thou savest thy servants.

Thief's repentance in paradise joy, weep thou myrrhbearer gladness proclaim, for having risen Thou O Christ, bestowing peace mighty prayer.
Stepeň:

When sorrow maketh me to sigh, hear my sickness, O Lord; for unto thee do I cry.

The desert-dweller hath an unceasing holy desire, bringing confusion to the senseless among them.

Glory and worship to Thee, O Spirit, as is meet, and to Thy Mother also, today, for we shall sing the hymn of the Monarchy.

Antiphon v.:

Upon thy mountains, O Lord, thou hast ascended me with thy laws; by thy virtues thou hast enlightened the Theotokos, that I may praise thee.

By Thy right hand Thou receivest the word; preserve me, keep me, that sin's fire may not fall upon me.

By Thee, O Spirit, every creature is renewed, again flowing unto the first: for Thou art equal in power and word to the Father and the Son.

Antiphon gá:

O Lord, having said to me, "Enter into the courts of My people," my spirit rejoiceth, and my heart gladeth.

In the house of the double doors great fear: there in the throne placed, all nations and tongues are judged.

Hallowed be the Spirit, the honor, the worship, the glory and the power,
even as it is meet and right to render: for there is none other essence,
but faces alone.
