Pomíluy nás, gdy, pomíluy nás: vsejáxvo bo ōvěty neoumě́yche, sǐju tì mĺtvvu Ꙇ́kox vlčče grě́shni prínosimъ: pomíluy nás.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

O Lord, have mercy upon us, for in thee we have trusted: let not thy wrath light upon us, nor consider our sins as a remembrance; but look upon us now with pity, and deliver us from our enemies: thou art God our King, and we thy people, all our works are by thy hand, and to thee do we cry.

And now and for ever. Amen.

Mercy openeth the doors of salvation to us, O Blessed Theotokos: trusting in thee, let us not perish, but be delivered by thee from calamities: for thou art the Saviour of the race of Christians.

O Lord, have mercy. [v.]

Mercy, O Holy Father, great in holiness,
to God and the Theotokos:

O Lord, eternal and King of all creation, having deigned to grant me even in this hour to come to repentance, forgive me my sins which I have committed today, by deed, word, and thought: and cleanse, O Lord, my humble soul from every stain of body and spirit, and give me, O Lord, a sound sleep this night: that arising from my humbled bed, I may find rest in Thy holy name throughout all the days of my life, and overcome those who war against me, both bodily and spiritual: and deliver me, O Lord, from thoughts of vain things, defiling me, and by the lusts of the wicked.

For Thine is the power, and glory, O Father, and the Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Mercy, O Antiochian, to the Lord our Jesus Christ:
Who is on high with the Father and the Holy Spirit, King,
Hallowed be His name.

O All-Ruling One, Word of the Most High, most perfect in Thyself, O Jesus Christ, by many prayers of Thine mercy Thou hast never ceased to fight against me, Thy unworthy servant, but ever dwellest within me. O Jesus Christ, Good Shepherd of Thy flocks, deliver me not into the hands of the accusers, and let not Satan prevail over me, for indeed sevenfold is his power in me. Thou art invoked by the Lord, O Holy Theotokos, sleeping with an unquenchable light within Thy holy home, where Thou didst rest as Thy Teacher. Give also to me, Thy unworthy servant, a repose upon my bed: enlighten my soul with Thine illumination, love my spirit with Thy love, and with Thy words of truth, O Heart of the Word, warm my heart; let my body be by Thy passionless strength without passion: preserve my thoughts in Thy humility, and raise me up at the time to be like unto Thy glorious praise for ever. Amen.

Mercy God, to Thy throne:

O Lord, heavenly King, Comforter, O Spirit of Truth, Thou hast humbled Thyself, and hast pitied me, the sinner, my unworthy servant; forgive me, blot out my unworthiness, and grant me forgiveness for all that I have sinned today, both knowingly and unknowingly, from my youth until now. For even as a man, I am more so than a man, but worse than an animal: my voluntary sins and involuntary, known and unknown, from my youth to this day.

Even if I have called Thee by name in thought, or have blasphemed Thee in my thoughts; if I have wronged anyone, or have slandered someone with anger, or have saddened them; if I have been provoked for any reason, or have lied, or have worked without purpose, or have despised the poor who came to me, or have grieved my brother, or have judged my sister, or have quarreled, or have become proud, or have been angered: even if I have prayed with my lips against my own sinfulness in this world; even if I have had evil thoughts, or have committed adultery, and by them was pierced the heart; even if I have spoken unseemly words, or have mocked my brother's sin, for which I am countless times guilty: even if I have not prayed with my lips, or have done other wicked things, I do not remember. For all these and more, O Lord, my Creator, my Master, forgive me, who am unworthy of Thy mercy; leave me not, blot out, and grant forgiveness to me, for Thou art good and lover of mankind: that I may lie down in peace, rest, and sleep, the sinner, the sinful and contrite one. And I will prostrate myself, and praise Thee, and glorify Thy most holy name, with the Father and the Son, now and forevermore. Amen.

Mercy, O God, of great and glorious memory:

O Thou, who hast brought forth the life eternal, and dost reward with great gifts the immortal King, most bountiful and loving of men; for having been idle in Thy desire, and doing nothing good, Thou didst bring me to the end of this day, turning and saving my soul. Be thou merciful to my sinful and naked deeds: raise up my fallen soul, which was defiled with countless sins, and let all my thoughts be made manifest in this life. Forgive my sins, O only sinless One; for I have sinned today both knowingly and unknowingly, by word, deed, thought, and every one of my senses. Thou Thyself dost cover me from every opposing resistance, by Thine almighty power, by Thine ineffable love, and by Thy strength. Purify, O God, the multitude of my sins. Willingly grant, O God, to deliver me from the snares of the crafty one, and save my sinful soul, and enlighten me with the light of Thy countenance: when Thou comest in glory. And now let not my sleep be unseasonable, nor with thoughts; and may not the thought of Thy servant be unclean, and all Satan's offspring be cut off from me. Enlighten our understanding hearts, that we may not fall into death. Send us an angel of peace, guardian and instructor of soul and body, that he may deliver me from my enemies: when I arise with Thee, let me bring Thee thanksgiving prayers. O God, hear Thy sinful and righteous servant, by will and conscience: give me to learn by Thy words, and drive far away the evil spirits from me; and bless me, and praise, and glorify the most holy Theotokos, who gave us a covering for our sins, and receive this praying one on our behalf: for we know that Thy love follows us, and prayer never ceaseth. By this covering, and by this sign of thy covenant, and for all thy saints' sake, keep Thou my holy soul in our midst: for thou art, and art glorified to the ages. Amen.
