А҆́гг҃льскїѧ си̑лы на гро́бѣ твое́мъ, / и҆ стрегꙋ́щїи ѡ҆мертвѣ́ша: / и҆ стоѧ́ше мр҃і́а во гро́бѣ, / и҆́щꙋщи пречⷭ҇тагѡ тѣ́ла твоегѡ̀. / плѣни́лъ є҆сѝ а҆́дъ, не и҆скꙋси́всѧ ѿ негѡ̀: / срѣ́тилъ є҆сѝ дв҃ꙋ да́рꙋѧй живо́тъ. / воскр҃сы́й и҆з̾ ме́ртвыхъ, гдⷭ҇и, сла́ва тебѣ̀.
Angelic powers watched o'er thy grave,
And guarded thee from death's snare:
And stood there, Mary, in the tomb,
Seeking for thy risen form.
Thou didst ensnare the foe, not yielding to his might;
Met with Him who giveth life, twain together.
Rise from the dead, O Mary, glory be to thee.

Blessed be Thou, O Mother of God,
Whose blessedness hast come with freedom's will,
Having taken upon Thyself the Cross,
Wishing to seek out Adam,
Saying unto the Angels: Rejoice for me,
For in wisdom Thou didst contrive our salvation, glory to Thee.
