Angelic powers on thy grave,
And watching, kept the dead:
And stood the Lord in the grave,
Seeking for Thy holy body.
Thou didst enslave the foe, not being tempted by him:
Thou metest Him who giveth life to two.
Rise from the dead, O Lord, glory be to Thee.
Glory to Thee, O Father, and to Thy Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Blessed be thou, O Mother of God:
Thou didst come into the world freely of thy own will,
Wearing a crown, to seek back Adam,
Saying unto the angels: Rejoice with me,
For I have found what was lost,
O Wisdom that hast contrived all things for our sake, glory be to thee.
