Today the most glorious city of Vladimir is shining brightly,/ joyfully celebrating, O Lady,/ the feast of Your appearance to Saint Maximus, who was there,/ now remembering him/ and praying To you, we cry out to you: / O Most Wonderful Lady Theotokos, / praying to the Eternal Bishop - Your Son, / that He may unshakably establish the Orthodox Church, / our city of Vladimir and all of Russia will preserve the earth/ in peace // and save our souls in orthodoxy.
