Come, let us worship our King God. (Bow)
Come, let us worship and fall down before Christ, our King God. (Bow)
Come, let us bow and fall down to Christ Himself, the King and our God. (Bow)
Tsarevi - Tsar. Let's fall down, throw ourselves on the ground, and bow down.
In this prayer, we invite all our mental and physical strength (and during church or general prayer, we invite other believers) to worship our King and God Jesus Christ.
This prayer usually precedes the reading of the psalms, which clearly expresses the Orthodox attitude towards the Psalter.
“The Book of Psalms in almost every psalm announces the coming of the Savior... This divine book, for those who strive for virtue and want to know the life of the Savior in the flesh, first through reading brings to mind spiritual movements, and then forms and teaches those who read such words.”
Saint Athanasius of Alexandria
Our appeal to the psalms is a stand before the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
