Do końca psalm Davida.

And a troparion, tone 3:

O Soul of Christ, O Life, our God,
Thou didst descend to Hades and didst take the powers [ область ] in Thy mighty arms.
Thou didst sit at the right hand of the Father and didst make known the hidden mysteries.

Blessed Pastor, Thou hast laid Thy Soul upon us, O most hidden and precious, co-mixed by me, alone nearest, O dearest, save me the one who hath wandered from my senses, and deliver me from the wolf, the lamb of God, and have mercy on me.

O deep sleep of spiritual deception, darkening with the guile of sins: but grant me morning of repentance, enlightening my thoughts, O Theotokos, enlightenment of my soul, and save me.

By the mist of sins and by the sweetness of worldly pleasures we entwine our own souls, giving birth to various passions, and compunction does not come to their thoughts. But still, O Saviour, my humility, and grant me thoughts of compunction, that I may be saved before the end by thy blessed womb: O Lord, save my soul, who am longing for salvation and unworthy.

As I fell among robbers, and was wounded, so also have I fallen into many sins, and my soul is grieved. To whom shall the guilty man flee? Only to Thee, O Merciful One: heal me, O great Physician of souls.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

O wayward son, I have come and am yet merciful: receive me, O Mother, having returned, for I am but one of thy hired servants.

And now and for ever. Amen.

Deliver us, O Theotokos, from those who uphold sins against us: for if even the faithful do not have any, how much more from Thee, and from Thee born God.

O Lord, have mercy. [and] And bowings and myrrh-bearing:

Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner, and forgive me for my wanderings, for thy holy habitation.

Mercy of the holy basil of great stature:

Again I have been taken captive by weeping and by deceitful custom, working in sin. Again I am the prince of darkness and the father of passionate delights; thou hast made me a prisoner, and as with a slave desirous of humility, he is constrained to work according to his fleshly will. And what do I do, O my Lord, my Saviour, my protector of those who call upon thee? Yet I fear and tremble lest, as always confessing, I fall short of the promises given me, and sin at every hour: and not giving thee, O my God, my prayer, thy long-suffering raises itself against indignation. And who can endure thine anger, O Lord? For thou knowest the multitude of thy mercies, and the abundance of thy human love; again I turn to thy prayer, crying out to thee: "Whereas I have sinned, forgive me." Have mercy on me, fallen one, give me a hand of help in the depths of sweet delights. Do not abandon, O my creation, lest I be corrupted by my own unrighteousness and sins; but by thy customary mercies and goodness constrain me to avoid uncleanness and evil thoughts, defiling always my heart weeping. For indeed, as thou hast seen, there is no place in it of purity, but all are offenses, and the whole body is covered with wounds. Thou, O loving one, physician of soul and body, fountain of prayer, cleanse thy tears flowing upon me sweetly: pour out on me thy human love, and give me healing and cleansing, and heal my fainting, and do not turn away thy face from me, lest I be consumed by the fire of wrath; but as thou hast said, true God, as joy comes to those who repent of one sin, so also upon me, sinful one, thou didst open not with a shut hand of mercy, in my prayer of confession, but didst forgive them, and as with a pen corrected them before thee: for the weakness of nature is to the Creator, and the desire of youth, and the heaviness of body, and thou despisest sin, and receivest repentance from those who call upon thee in truth. Again blessed be thy name, O Father, now and always, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

O many-tongued, unwearying, unsinful Lord, cleanse me, Thy unworthy servant, from all bodily and spiritual uncleanness, and from negligence and inattention that have come to me today, together with all my other sins. And keep me unsinful, for Thy mercy's sake, and remember me in Thine advent:

That I may arise from the darkness of unclean visions, and from all uncleanness, be made clean in conscience to confess my own uncleanness and sinfulness, and to praise Thee, O Father, and Thee, O Son, and Thee, Holy Spirit, now and ever, and for ever. Amen.

Lord God, our Judge, who hast judged us today in word, deed, and thought, because Thou art good and lover of mankind, forgive us. Give me a quiet sleep and an untroubled rest, O guardian angel sent to watch over me, covering and keeping me from every evil: for Thou art the guardian of our souls and bodies, and unto Thee we send glory, Father, and Son, and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Mercy, O holy John the Golden-mouthed:

Lord, do not deprive me of Thy heavenly blessings. Lord, deliver me from eternal torments. Lord, by my thoughts, words, and deeds I have sinned, forgive me. Lord, deliver me from all unknown, forgotten, foolish, and hardened sins. Lord, deliver me from every temptation. Lord, enlighten my heart which is darkened by the deceitful desires of the flesh. Lord, as a man I have sinned, but Thou, O God, being merciful, forgive me, seeing the weakness of my soul. Lord, send Thy mercy to help me, that I may glorify Thee with my lips. Lord, O holy Theotokos, write me, Thy servant, in the book of life, and grant me a good end. Lord, my God, though I have done nothing good before Thee, yet by Thy grace, let me begin to do good. Lord, pour Thy grace upon my heart. Lord, all earth and heaven, remember me, O sinful servant, student, and unclean, in Thy holy presence.

Amen.

Lord, in my prayer receive me. Lord, do not forsake me. Lord, lead me not into temptation. Lord, give me a good thought. Lord, give me tears and the memory of mortality, and compunction. Lord, give me understanding and confession of my sins. Lord, give me humility, integrity, and obedience. Lord, give me patience, magnanimity, and meekness. Lord, implant in me the root of goodness, thy fear in my heart. Lord, enable me to love thee from all my soul and thoughts, and to do whatsoever thy will is. Lord, cover me from men some, and demons, and passions, and all other unseemly things. Lord, as thou hast wrought, even so let thy will be done in me the sinner: for blessed art thou for ever. Amen.

O Lady, Theotokos, by Thy mighty and all-powerful prayers, deign to grant unto Thy servant, this sinner, humility, repentance, forgetfulness, senselessness, lack of zeal, and all filthiness, wicked thoughts, and impure intentions from the depths of my heart, and from the darkness within me. And quench the flame of my passions, for I am poor and have repented: and deliver me from many and fierce remembrances, and from all heard deeds, that I may be free. For Thou art blessed above all peoples, and Thy name is praised most gloriously to the ages of ages. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, pray for us sinners, in Thy prayers of intercession and those of all the saints.

O Lord, from the profanation:

Hear my prayer, O God, and have mercy upon me.

For Thou art holy, and all Thy ways are in righteousness; and Thou liftest up the fallen, and comfortest them that are of a contrite heart.

Thou hast said, "Cry unto Me with thy whole heart, and in thy distress seek Me early."

Therefore, O Lord, have mercy upon me, for I am weak and my soul is troubled.

For all my ways are before Thee, and the thoughts of my heart Thou understandest.

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts.

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

Grant, O Lord, that I may walk before Thee in truth and righteousness all my days.

O Lord our God, the only-begotten and lover of mankind, the only holy and resting in holiness, who by the vision revealed to St. Peter, didst show that nothing unclean or impure should be thought of those things created for food and enjoyment by Thee, and as Thy chosen vessel, Apostle Paul, didst command with pure and clean precepts: Thou art Thyself Most High, calling us by the fearful and terrible name of Thine own Name, and by the sign and life-giving seal of Thy Holy Spirit, bless and cleanse Thy servant [and me], defiled from all unclean spirits, from every imagination and thought, from every sin and deceit, from every consent and folly, and from every sickness, and from every evil spirit. And from every opposition to Thy sweetness, O devil.

Now, this unworthy servant of Thine [and me], be granted to serve Thy most holy mysteries. Before cleanse my soul and body from all uncleanness, and forgive all transgressions, voluntary and involuntary, which I have committed in all the days of my life, by deed, word, and thought, day and night, until now.

Grant me, O Lord, to serve these fearful heavenly powers, and partake of Thy most holy mysteries, not for judgment or condemnation, but for the remission of sins, and for the coming age, and the living hope thereof, which Thou didst prepare as a true servant of Thine. Keep me, O All-powerful Lord, from all sin and sorrow; keep me undefiled and unblemished from all contrary diseases: and grant me, O Lord, to serve Thee in humility and truth until my last day and hour.

Thou art blessed and glorified, O God, our Lord, and we send Thee glory with Thy Father and Holy Spirit, now and forever, and into the ages of ages. Amen.

Of sin, and by reason thereof lustful dreams arise in sleep:

To judge sincerely and to condemn one's brother, who is grievously in sin: this also is very sinful. From lofty pride and haughtiness, this too is sinful. From many days of feasting, it is fitting; from the natural without movement and without thought, it flows forth, as do excesses: from bodily weakness and certain diseases: yet both are blameless, but they are called foul-smelling.
