Bludnitsy slyzy i petrovyy prijemy gdivyi, i mytaryu opredavuy, iz glubiny vozdukhnuvsha: i men'e v umilenii prypadayuscheshche shcheder spasye, i pomyly mene.

Glory: Receive me, O Lord, as the publican, that I may be cleansed by thine eyes, O Master; and forgive me, O merciful One, as didst thou the harlot; and have mercy upon me through thy great power, O King.

And now: Blessed be the Theotokos, O Lady, pray to God that He may vouchsafe to give us this morning and keep our souls in His grace.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

O Lord my God, most merciful and loving-man, most patient and meek, only true and first, only bountiful and merciful Lord our God: may Thy strength come upon this sinful and useless servant of Thine, and may it strengthen my soul.

Temple of God, holy in Thy teachings. Lord and lover of mankind, full of love, loving-heartened, enlighten my heart, and all my thoughts by Thy will: cleanse me from every sin and folly, keep me blameless from every evil thought and deed, and

Grant me according to Thy goodness, to understand Thine, to be wise in Thine, and to live in Thy will, fearing that which is pleasing unto Thee for my last day of life, because Thou hast kept my body and soul by Thy ineffable mercy.

amen

And let thoughts, O uncorrupted all, not be snared by every opposing net of the temple. My Lord, my Lord, cover me with Thy blessed mercy, and do not forsake me, the sinful, the impure, the unworthy servant of Thine: For Thou art my Defender, O Lord, and I sing to Thee, and glory is due unto Thee.

We pray thee, O God, and thy Theotokos, and thy holy ones, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages, amen.
