It is meet to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High.

To proclaim thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night.

In a ten-stringed harp with psalms and lyre.

O Lord, how rejoiced have I been in thy works, and in the deeds of thy hands I will exult.

As thy works have been magnified, O Lord, so hath thy counsels been deeply enlarged.

A fool shall not understand these things, and a senseless one shall not comprehend them.

But when the sinners sprang up like grass, and all who wrought iniquity flourished, they were consumed forever into the age of ages.

Thou also art exalted for ever, O Lord.

‹. For behold, thy enemies shall perish, and all they that work iniquity shall be scattered.

And my horn shall be exalted like a unicorn’s, and my old age shall be drenched in oil.

And my eye hath seen in my enemies, and upon them that rise up against me, doing evil, let mine ear hear.

Those planted in the Lord's house shall bloom in the courts of our God.

They shall yet bring forth fruit in old age, waxing strong in beauty.

They shall yet be filled with the fullness of youth and shall be acceptable in their old age.

That he may proclaim: "The Lord my God is righteous, and there is no injustice in him.

On the day before the Sabbath, when the earth is filled with glory, let there be a song of two voices, verse.

On the day of preparation when the earth was established, the Lord clothed Himself with beauty; He clothed Himself with strength and girded Himself: for He stablished the inhabited world, which shall not be moved.

The throne of thy glory from of old, from everlasting thou art.

The rivers lifted up their voices: the rivers lifted up their voices.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

Alas, two days, on the fourth subbótai, chérg.

O Lord God of vengeance, O Lord God of vengeance, thou hast revealed thyself.

Lift up yourself, O Judge of the earth; give reward to the proud.

г҃. Доко́лѣ грѣ̑шницы, гдⷭ҇и, доко́лѣ грѣ̑шницы восхва́лѧтсѧ;
LORD, how long shall the wicked boast, how long shall they glory in their wickedness?

д҃. Провѣща́ютъ и҆ возглаго́лютъ непра́вдꙋ, возглаго́лютъ всѝ дёлающіи беззако́нїе;
How long shall they speak and utter vain things? all workers of iniquity boast themselves.

They have humbled thy people, O Lord, and afflicted thy inheritance.

They slew the widow and the stranger, and murdered the fatherless.

Yet they say, the Lord will not behold, nor will the God of Jacob take notice.

Understand, ye senseless ones among the people: and ye foolish, when will ye be wise?

ѳ҃. Насажде́й ѹ҆́хо, не слы́шитъ ли; и҆лѝ созда́вый ѻ҆́ко, не сматрѧ́етъ ли;
He that planted the ear, doth he not hear? he that formed the eye, doth he not see?

‹. Наказꙋ́ѧй ꙗ҆зы́ки, не ѡ҆бличи́тъ ли, ѹ҆ча́й человѣ́ка ра́зꙋмꙋ;
‹. He that chasteneth the nations, shall he not instruct? he that teacheth knowledge, shall he not know?

The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vain.

Blessed is the man whom thou dost correct, O Lord, and instruct him in thy law.

That thou mayest give him rest from days of evil, until the pit be dug for the sinner.

For the Lord will not abandon his people, nor desert their inheritance.

But until righteousness shall return to judgment, and all who are upright of heart shall walk therein.

ѕ҃і. Кто̀ воста́нетъ мѝ на лꙋка́внꙋющыѧ; и҆лѝ кто̀ спредста́нетъ мѝ на дѣ́лающыѧ беззако́нїе;
Who will arise for me against the wicked, or who will stand with me against the workers of iniquity?

Unless the Lord had not helped me, my soul would have dwelt in the nether world.

When I said, My foot was slipping; thy mercy, O Lord, upheld me.

In the abundance of my sorrows, O Lord, thy consolations have delighted my soul in my heart.

Shall the throne of iniquity draw near to thee, that fashioneth evil by commandment?

They shall gather themselves against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

But the Lord is my stronghold, and my God is the hope of my salvation.

And he shall repay them their own iniquity, and cut them off in their own wickedness; for the Lord our God shall cut them off.
Glory:
Glory to the two songs, not written by the Jews, amen.

O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us exult with joy for our savior.

Let us approach His face in confession and with psalms make melody to Him.

For the Lord is a great God, and a mighty King over all deities.

In his hand are the bounds of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are his also.

For the sea is His, and He hath made it; and His hands have fashioned the dry land.

O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For he is our God, and we his people of the pasture, and the sheep of his hand; today if ye hear his voice,

Do not harden your hearts as in the time of trial, in the day of temptation in the wilderness.

When your fathers put me to the test, proved me, and saw my works.

‹. Forty years long I was grieved with that generation, and said: They are a people who wander at heart, and they have not known my ways.

So I swore in my wrath, they shall not enter into my rest.

Glory to the two-sung psalm, when the house is being built by the captivity, not written unto the Jew, but unto thee.

O sing unto the Lord a new song; sing unto the Lord, all the land.

Sing unto the Lord, bless His name; show forth His salvation from day to day.

Proclaim his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all peoples.

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are demons; but the Lord made the heavens.

Honor and majesty before Him, strength and beauty in His sanctuary.

Give unto the Lord, O peoples, give to the Lord glory and honour.

Give unto the Lord the glory due to his name; bring a sacrifice, and enter his courts.

Worship the Lord in His holy court; let all the earth tremble at His presence.

‹. Say among the nations, the Lord hath reigned; He hath judged the world with equity, and it shall never be moved.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the seas roar, and all that is in them.

Let the fields be joyful, and all that is in them: then shall all the trees of the forest exult.

Before the Lord, for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he judgeth the inhabited world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.

Alas, two days, when the earth wast created, not written to the Jew, chas.

Let the earth rejoice, and let many isles be glad thereof.

Clouds and darkness surround him; righteousness and justice, the establishment of his throne.

A fire shall go before Him and consume His enemies in its flame.

His lightnings shone upon the world; the earth saw and trembled.

The hills have melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the face of the Lord of all the earth.

The heavens have declared his righteousness, and all peoples have seen his glory.

Confounded let all who serve graven images be, who glory in their idols; worship him, all his angels.

Zion heard and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced at thy judgments, O Lord.

For thou, Lord, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

‹. Ye who love the Lord, hate evil; He preserves the souls of His saints from the hand of the wicked.

A⅃. Light arose in the Lord, and by His Righteousness rejoiced.

Rejoice in the Lord, you righteous, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.
Glory:
